The room is bigger than a standard hotel room, the bed is perfect and the bathroom has everything you may need. I stayed one night but if i had to stay one or two weeks i wouldn't complain at all. Cleanliness is perfect.
Position of the hotel 10 minutes or less from the center in a nice area.
Breakfast is excellent, with lots of variety and tasty food.
If you find yourself in the area Villa Vanilla is a safe choice.

CanadaThis was one of the most interesting places I've seen in Latvia! Atmosphere and history are abundant. Bed was super big and comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had, anywhere. Kudos to the chef for the quality of every item on the buffet!

Very family friendly with cots provided and a lot of green space for the kids to run around. The restaurant on site does great evening meals and breakfast. Just what we needed for a one night stop over with kids. Also, the staff were exceptional!

Great place and great experience here. It's a friendly and comfortable space, both inside and outside the house. Quiet cosy place. You can exit from the house directly into the garden. The garden terrace is beautifully lit by the sun in the mornings. The living room downstairs is very welcoming. Kitchen very well equipped.
Wonderful garden and surroundings of the house. Children had more than enough space to spend time outside. Tried to make friends with some of the three dogs or two cats. Kids spent long minutes watching frogs in the pond, or birds - among others, we saw nuthatches, woodpeckers. It's nice that the house is wooden. The place is a big property with three smart wooden houses - the first one belongs to the hosts. We had the house in the back, all for us four. We also had a separate entrance to the property and a separate parking spot for our car.
The host speaks very good English. Internet was enough for an online meeting with webcam.

We were just two people, but we booked a large room for four and it was definitely worth it. The two-room suite is located in a separate building on the second floor, above a tavern that was closed for renovation. This turned out to be a great bonus – no noise, and we had almost the entire building to ourselves since the only things in it were our suite and the closed tavern.
The private entrance provided complete seclusion and plenty of space. But the real highlight of this room was the view from the window. The Sigulda hills and the Gauja River were absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the sunset colors, the mist enveloping everything, and then another beautiful sunset from the bay window.
Of course, the room was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable double bed in one room and two single beds in the other. We will definitely stay here again next time!

I like the hotel because of its location, cleanliness and customer service at the reception.
I did not like the restaurant and its staff because they do not serve enough food at the breakfast even though you pay for it. If you do not go to breakfast early, you only get some leftovers. They do not bring any additional food for missing items.

Sigulda is a great place to overcome obstacle courses located in the treetops. In the "Mežakakais" adventure park, you will be challenged by 6 tracks with 82 obstacles of varying difficulty. On the other hand, in the largest open-air adventure park in the Baltics - Tarzāns, you will not only be able to climb 20 meters above the ground, but also go down the toboggan track. Also Bungee Sigulda is a unique place in Europe, where jumps with a bungee are taken from a CABLE CAR.
