They have very friendly and welcoming staff, they arranged us the safari for a reasonable price with well experienced driver. Rooms are clean and spacious, location is not in busy street which we liked, you can find here quite and relaxinf atmosphere.

This place is magic. Absolute paradise! Madu and his staff were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our safari was well organised and Madu made sure we were well looked after. The food was superb and eating outside overlooking the lake during the evening was bliss. The hotel was without a doubt the best accomodation we have stayed at until now in Sri Lanka. The design is spot on. The layout of our “penthouse” was very well thought out and an excellent place to wind down after dinner. We have payed much more for other accomodations throughout our stay here that don’t even come close. The whole experience is almost a bonus on top of our Sri Lankan adventure. As for the safari, our very competent driver Dulita who we named Dr Dolittle took us on an unforgettable safari. We saw leopard, elephant, mongoose, monkeys, monitor lizards, crocs and countless beautiful birds. His spotting skills were second to none. A trip to remember for a lifetime. Highly recommended.

The Best Hospitality We Ever Had They were in touch with us since the day we booked their accommodation. Host picked us from bus stop when we arrived to city. In the evening owner joined with us for a evening walk. He brought us to a place to see more than thousand fruit bats in the evening by their own vehicle. On the way back we went to see a very rare owl at a secret place. They offered us all of these free of charge and when we leaving they dropped us to the bus station also. The hospitality was amazing and the best hospitality we ever had. Absolutely they are doing more than a five stars hotel. The price also very reasonable and we couldn't understand how they offer such a service for a very cheap price. For the dinner also owner dropped us to main city by their vehicle. About the room it was very clean There is a beautiful garden with lots of flowers and fishes The place is ideal for bird lovers. Located infront of a beautiful lake with beautiful flowers. Could see crocodile also in the lake. They offered us a super fresh juice when we arrived. Again a black coffee in the evening. They packed our breakfast for the safari at 4 am. It was very helpful. We did a safari with hotel. e had the best guide and driver. He gave us lots of information about the park and animals. They recommended us the full day safari and we did. It was a correct decision. We were lucky to see two leopards and all other animals. We had a very delicious Sri Lankan Rice and Curry for the lunch with fresh fruits. Unfortunately the prices of entrance tickets increased by government few months ago. But we understood it's out of control by host and safari service. Absolutely they are the best for safari. This is the best hotel and kindful hosts we alever met on our tour.

Beautiful place and beautiful people. We had a very warm welcome, with a rich dinner of local cousine. The room and bathroom were really clean and the bed very comfortable. We were also impressed by how clean and well-maintained the exterior was. They also had flexible check out, and in addition, delicious refreshment drinks were waiting for us after the safari. The view was wonderful. You can see from the terrace the Debarawewa lake with its wild life (water buffalos, lots of birds and sometimes crocodiles). The hosts were very nice and attentive to our needs. I also enjoyed the tasty food. The host also arranged the safari and I was picked up directly from the accommodation. I didn't have to worry about anything. The room was clean and had air conditioning.

First of all i need to thanks channa .the owner of hotel. He make our stay comfortable. He arrange a safari for us for great price andthe safari was good we were lucky to have that safari jeep because he knows where the Leppard lives in the jungle.. our stay was very comfortable clean rooms with quite location. We really enjoyed our stay here. The host is super friendly and helpful. When we arrived the host offered bikes to explore the area. We cycled around the lake, 100% recommended if you visit this place. The host also booked our trip to Yala National Park, for which she gave several options. The room was very clean and has everything you need. The location is very quiet, except for the river! However you do not hear the river from the room, and outside you can enjoy its soothing nature sound! Thank you Mithila!
