A truly beautiful hotel – stylish, cozy, and very peaceful, just like a perfect boutique hotel. The staff are incredibly kind, sweet, and always helpful, making the stay feel extra special. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!!! The location is excellent, right on the ocean. Don’t look any further , this is the perfect place to stay!

We loved Sisi's place! Clean comfortable and strong enough wifi to work remotely. The room has high-end quality finishings. Quality bed and sheets. Brand new sparkling clean toilet and tiles. We enjoyed the view from the balcony set higher than surrounding buildings. Also we enjoyed the train passing my. The family was so kind and sweet. The breakfast was large, and all very good items included. We especially loved the fresh juices, coconut roti, and fruit platter, which included my favorite passion fruit. Book early is they are often sold out. We've stayed in many accommodations in Bentota and this is one of the best! Also very close to the beach. Tea, coffee, and water in the room. The room is very large and has good air flow. The floors were spotless, so you could walk barefoot comfortably. Also, the bathroom didn't have a moldy smell like many bathrooms do from moisture in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend. We loved the custom card they gave us upon departure.

A fantastic boutique hotel located right on the beach. Beautiful rooms with all amenities. A fantastic and friendly staff led by Sanuka and Francesca. We received an upgraded room upon arrival and were allowed to keep it until 11 PM on the departure day. A nice restaurant in the hotel with a lovely breakfast and otherwise open until 11 PM for both lunch and dinner. Nice outdoor area with comfortable sunbeds and a great swimming pool.

the stuff was friendly, especially the restaurant service and two bartenders: Buddhi and Kanishka - they were always happy to see us and ready for a quick chat. We also loved the pool guys, they were very helpful :) I loved the beach, overall the facility, and the good vibe. Also our room was great: with mini fridge and balcony. What is important the AC was working flawless! The wifi is very strong and fast and is working even on the pool area or by the beach. The garden is very well maintained. There was a live music almost every evening, so we used to enjoy it with some books in our hands. Overall we recommend this place and we would gladly spend there another week!

In particular, I would like to acknowledge the exceptional efforts of Mr. Sanke, the front office manager, and Mr. Mahinda, the restaurant manager, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Everything except for the few negative aspects I described but those are not so important. The room was big enough and the bathroom was oversized. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The beach is beautiful and not crowded as Unawatuna Beach. I liked the location, you can find a bus stand, and tuk-tuks are very easy.

I enjoyed my stay in Galle.

I enjoyed my stay in Galle. The place was very clean and the environment was relaxing. It’s a good location to explore the city and enjoy the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the beds were a bit old and already broken, so it wasn’t very comfortable. If they fix that, it would be a much better stay. Overall, a nice experience and good value.

Very nice beach, people and good restaurants and shops in the village. Not huge and busy. Good place to eat and drink is Funky D Bar. Hikkaduwa was our resting place after travelling on the Eastern side during the cyclone. Unfortunately had to miss a couple of attractions but we did a day trip down to Galle Fort which was worth while - very nice.

Its a fantastic place, just at the beach and well planned hotel, pools, beach, restaurants, bars, lobbys are equally catering to customer service points. We had our best hotel experience at Araliya Unawatuna. Even met the owner and had a generous chat during breakfast which is so touching and personalized service standard I believe. Easy to visit Galle Fort, just a walk to the golden sandy beaches. Staff from top management to the ground staff is well trained to give excellent customer care. We specially thanking to our 7th flour room service staff who simply helped us in technical support, bars and restaurant staff and Nethmi & Dakshika and all wonderful reception staff memebers.

We did not venture into Bentota.

We did not venture into Bentota. We are expats living in Colombo so no need to explore the city. The hotel was at the right spot for a 100% relaxing weekend away with no distractions. The ocean is not that swimmable as the sea was very rough and looked dangerous. The pool was a welcome alternative. We drove to Galle for the Saturday to watch the game between Springboks and Kiwis. That was not too far, one hour away and a very scenic route. The hotel was also fully booked so must be popular.

Great beach with very few people.

Great beach with very few people. Not suitable for swimming as the current is very strong. Also, as a solo female traveller, because there are so few people on the beach it is advisable to be extra cautious. One morning when I was walking by myself, there was a man in the bushes who exposed himself to me (intentionally). So use caution.

I recently stayed at La Kurumba for two nights, and everything about the hotel was exceptional! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The food was absolutely delicious — every meal was a treat. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

Koggalla is small ,but has the same nice beaches and restaurants as the other towns on the coast.Yes a bit more basic,but also less crowded . We found the locals very friendly and niceThe stilt fishing demonstration is a cool thing to see and just be aware that you pay for pictures or videos.Nothing much and we had a fun time with all 5 guys showing us the ropes.If you respect them they will show you kindness and will be very friendly.We even delivered some chocolate for their kids later ,because we were staying so close to their beach.And that really made their day. Small gesture,but big enjoyment for everybody

Talpe is a beautiful and quiet coastal village, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The beaches are clean and less crowded, with stunning sunsets and even the chance to see sea turtles. It’s a great spot to relax, with a mix of charming villas, friendly locals, and easy access to nearby attractions like Unawatuna and Galle. Ideal for those looking to unwind away from the tourist rush.

if you are some one who wants to enjoy sea views with modern...

if you are some one who wants to enjoy sea views with modern day comforts - look no further , I am very wildly travel and for me I have not found any such place to enjoy sea views , relax and be to myself . staff here is very lovely , special shout out Prabhu who did his best to give us vegetarian food , perfect place for me time and unwinding
