The pool is great. We used it every day. The co-working area is solid too. Fast WiFi, plenty of space, and a good setup to get work done. Location is perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a pleasure to stay in this resort, the facilities are amazing, and brand new. The staff are incredibly polite with very good English speaking. They made the check-in process very nice & smooth and helped recommend places to see and visit on the South Coast.
My room was also very comfortable, considering most places I've stayed in Sri Lanka the bed tends to be a little harder, but the rooms in Terra Resort had the comfiest bed & pillows.
The location is also a short 5ish min walk to the main beach of Kabalana which makes it really easy to get around.
The reception also has tuktuk call services too, that come to pick you up from the resort if you want to get into town or go surfing.
I highly recommend this place if it's your first time in Sri Lanka, Or if you looking for an earthy boutique-style place to stay, it made my journey to this country all the sweeter.

IrelandEverything about this place is spectacular. The room itself was beautiful and clean. The aircon worked very well and cooled the room down within a few minutes. The bed was comfortable and there was reliably hot water. The beach and sunbed areas were clean, comfortable, some parts in the shade and they have a full menu with reasonably priced food and drinks.
What really made this place special was the staff. Every single one of the people working here was friendly, polite and kind. Some of the guys remembered our names from the first day and were so lovely and hard working. I also did surf lessons with Kalu who was very knowledgeable and helpful and made the lessons really fun.

Dont often give full marks but staying at Angel beach was an amazing experience. The beach front location is spectacular and the pool area is perfect for relaxing in a contemporary atmosphere. But above all that, it was the staff that made our stay unforgettable. Let me name a few: the general manager Delshan went above and beyond during our stay, we never experienced such a comitted and professional manager at any hotel! But also other staff like Sahan (house keeping who has great pride in towel art) and Pabasara at reception who always was very attentive. But others too, thanks for an amazing experience!

The pool was gorgeous and so much fun, and the tour around the plantation was great and very interesting - my little boy (aged 10) loved it. Our room was amazing, an upstairs room with a mezzanine floor and a window that looked out onto jungle - we saw black monkeys there, as well as elsewhere on the site, and there were so many kingfishers! (A couple of our wildlife shots from the site are added here.) The staff, like everyone in Sri Lanka, were all beautiful people who always went out of their way to help you. We will definitely return!

Great location with beach views and only short stroll into town. Staff were exceptional, we were always greeted with a hello and smile whenever we passed them. Breakfast was great with a freshly cooked egg chef who cooked the most delicious omelets, he always had a big smile on his face and took pride in his craft. They also have 2x wheelchair accessible rooms available and ramps to all areas of the resort which is a standout feature. Looking forward to coming back next year!

The location right next to the big and almost empty beach was magnificent. The experience at the spa was great, Prima gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had and you can tell she has a medical background. If you stay at this hotel, you should definitely get a massage.
Chef Heshan and his team made the best meals. Absolutely amazing food! Love this place and I would love to come back.

I enjoyed my stay in Galle. The place was very clean and the environment was relaxing. It’s a good location to explore the city and enjoy the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the beds were a bit old and already broken, so it wasn’t very comfortable. If they fix that, it would be a much better stay. Overall, a nice experience and good value.

Its a fantastic place, just at the beach and well planned hotel, pools, beach, restaurants, bars, lobbys are equally catering to customer service points. We had our best hotel experience at Araliya Unawatuna. Even met the owner and had a generous chat during breakfast which is so touching and personalized service standard I believe.
Easy to visit Galle Fort, just a walk to the golden sandy beaches.
Staff from top management to the ground staff is well trained to give excellent customer care. We specially thanking to our 7th flour room service staff who simply helped us in technical support, bars and restaurant staff and Nethmi & Dakshika and all wonderful reception staff memebers.

Hikkaduwa is one of the best tourist beach spots with friendly and helpful local people. The weather is cool even though we had some rain, but we stayed at the villa on the balcony watching people fishing kayaking and canoeing down the River. The beach area has some unique fresh seafood restaurants, surfing, snorkeling and you can even rent out glass-bottomed boat to see underwater world. There is also a Turtle Hatchery here and Tsunami museum for tourists. Beach is very clean.

Ahangama is so peaceful - it's slightly away from the busier areas around the coast. The restaurants around are in great locations, and all very calm with great vibes. It's also very easy and quick to get to neighbouring towns to visit sites, or restaurants in those locations as well.

Great beach with very few people.
Great beach with very few people. Not suitable for swimming as the current is very strong. Also, as a solo female traveller, because there are so few people on the beach it is advisable to be extra cautious. One morning when I was walking by myself, there was a man in the bushes who exposed himself to me (intentionally). So use caution.

Most meals were eaten at the Hotel.
Very easy to get around. There is a tour agency opposite the hotel entrance, it cant get any better than that. It is easy to take tuk tuk or van taxis.
Superior beach front view. Beautiful gardens and swimming pool. Well done to the management and staff for this top class facility.
Local fishermen were easy to approach and social chat with.

Great beach, we felt like Robinson Crusoe on the beach, almost just the 2 of us. Visiting Mahdu Lake at 6 a.m. watching the sun goes up. A natural paradise with a lot of birds and other animals. Listening to their different noises. Dining at the Mangrove Cave Restaurant we enjoyed freshest seafood. It was just very tasty.
