Wonderful rooftop pool with infinity border, where I had a lovely sunset view. The dinner buffet (and the breaksfast as well) were something to note and to enjoy. One of the supervisors was very kind in organizing our airport transfer to the next morning as well as in guiding for a taxi in which I has drove to visit the Colombo's tower

You made our stay memorable:-) The food was excellent. The spa beautiful decorated with professional therapist. Thanks to the young lady who took care of me. The premises overall is very clean & neatly presented. Our room was always clean, comfortable and maintained well, nice bathrooms, fresh bedding, plenty of towels. Staff were always accommodating, lovely, friendly, polite, always looking after anything we needed. The Food was tasty and always fresh. I highly recommend the Banana Fritters for dessert. A special mention goes out to the staff members who organised a dinner for 9 people very quickly for us with very short notice. Amazing job! If you want a view from your window make sure you take note & book this. Some room windows are completely blocked out, which we actually didn’t mind.

We’re so glad we found Vivid Colombo. It’s on a quiet side street but only a minute from a lively road full of restaurants, shops, and plenty of vegetarian options. The sea, bookshops, and the bus stop to Galle Face are all an easy walk away, perfect location. The property feels like a cozy home, with a small garden where you can relax with tea/coffee or a book. Do note that you need to take the stairs to reach the rooms. Inside, you’ll find all the essential: TV, AC, fan, kettle, mirror, clean towels, soap, and a hair dryer. Beds are comfortable and everything was clean. What really stands out is the people. The staff are polite and kind, and the owner is exceptionally helpful. When extreme weather forced us to extend our stay, he kept the same rate and even upgraded us to a newly furnished room. His priority is clearly the guests’ comfort. Overall, Vivid Colombo felt warm, quiet, and welcoming. We’re very happy we found it and would gladly stay again. Highly recommended!

As a tourist Colombo has nothing much to offer. Complete Sri Lanka has not much to offer for tourist who like historical places, UNESCO sites etc., Sri Lanka has few Ramayana trail temples, Temple of Buddha tooth relic in Kandy and rest is all beaches.

Dehiwela is very multi cultural and many differant varieties...

Dehiwela is very multi cultural and many differant varieties of restaurants and clothing along hill street which we stayed. people were very nice and polite to us and we felt safe even at late hours. also walking along hill street is quite a visual experience and we have done a few food crawls (like pub crawl but for food! ) along hill street. I would recommend dehiwela as a yet undiscovered gem in sri lanka with its own personality.

Lovely town.

Lovely town. Sri Lankan government buildings are located in this town. Citizenship and Immigration, Visa and NIC offices are here. There is also the Diyawanna Lake with board walks, bicycle routes, Parks and walk ways, perfect sceneries. Easy to get around town just by walking. About 30 minutes drive from Colombo Port City and One Galle Face Mall. About 45 minutes drive from Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport.

All the best places are away from the capital. But without starting here you miss all the layers of history and culture that inform everything about your whole trip. Start here, and spend some time investigating and exploring. Start in the old town at Dutch Hospital and move out from there.

This 3-Level Apartment has 3 Bed Rooms and is located in a secure and convenient location in Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka. The Hosts were quite friendly and responsive to your needs. The accommodation is well-equipped for a long-term stay as well. All Appliances and Equipment were in working order. The Washing Machine helped me to travel with less clothes. The Accommodation had a separate entrance with access to the Electric Roller Door. The 3rd Level had the Laundry with access to a Roof Top terrace where clothes could be dried and having a 360 degree view of the surroundings incl. high rise buildings in Colombo.

After what this country has been through, this country...

After what this country has been through, this country surely need lots of financial assistance to redevelop its infrastructure. . There is hardly any lighting on the streets. As the sunsets it's pitch dark. I myself would find it difficult to drive on the roads. Secondly restrooms need to be built.
