Chamin, his wife and his sister are welcoming and personable hosts, sharing their beautiful property that overlooks a wildlife-filled lagoon. The day we arrived Chamin and his wife were making their way back from Colombo however he graciously arranged for his sister to cook us a meal last minute and organised a safari tour of Bundala National Park for the following day. Chamin is a local, born and raised for a few generations, he loves and respects wildlife and is an avid photography, so he was our tourguide of the park, sharing his knowledge of the area and the many species in Bundala. We were fortunate enough to get upclose views of elephants, crocodiles, deer, monkeys and many species of birds such as bee easters, ibis, pelicans, osprey, eagles and many more. We chose Bundala NP to explore because it is smaller and there are less jeeps, however the wildlife and nature there is just as incredible as the bigger parks in our opinion. The room itself was spacious enough for four adults and had two balconies that were perfect for bird/animal watching

We really enjoyed the location, which is close to both Yala National Park and Bundala National Park, and the peaceful natural surroundings. Our family rooms were together, spacious and comfortable, which made our stay very convenient. The property also has a swimming pool, which was a lovely bonus. The manager was exceptional — extremely helpful, very attentive, and clearly worked incredibly hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. He went out of his way to organise breakfast for our early safari and arrange food for dinner at very short notice, which we truly appreciated.

Lovely secluded hotel, with only 4 rooms so it is lovely and peaceful. Amazing wildlife roaming around, super clean and the owner was so lovely and helpful. He cooked us dinner both nights which was so so nice and also washed our clothes for us. Very close to Yala park, 15 ish mins ride

It’s most amazing place to be, very good location for visiting Yala national park but also very nice place to stay and just chill and enjoying the nature, but the real treasure are the people, Babu and Roshan was amazing they really made our stay memorable, we had beach dinners fire and amazing time with them!
