Great spot right by the beach. All facilities, including the bar, restaurant, yoga area and beach loungers were great. Pizza was delicious. Hosts were very helpful and kindly provided a cold coconut drink on arrival.

It was a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of Arugam Bay. It is quiet and secluded, with surfers in the bay in the afternoons. Long beach walks and relaxing is what you do here. The food is fresh and tasty and reasonably priced too. The staff are friendly and quiet, always tending to the gardens. My room had a lovely 4 poster bed, and a nice patio area for relaxing. I loved my stay here.

We felt like home, everything is made for you to feel good, the pool is amazing, bungalows are super comfy, restaurant is really good (even the European food but also the local food not to spicy l, you can ask on demand), owners really helpful, friendly, here for you and the staff is joyful and super friendly to ! Located near the bay, and main street however in quiet area. The facility is new, rooms are nice, bed comfy and bath clean. Outside, there is a patio where you can relax. There was also fridge freezer and small kitchen available. Great place.

The hotel is absolutely new. Our room was spacious, fresh, and very clean, with a nice and well-maintained bathroom. If I ever visit Arugam Bay again, I would definitely stay here again — out of all the hotels in this price range, this one is the best! The hotel is run by a very polite and kind family who made us feel welcome. The location was excellent — on the main road, within walking distance to cafes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and just a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride to the beach, but you can also walk to it (20 minutes) It was quiet at night, and we had a very peaceful stay. There’s also a lake next to the hotel, where elephants sometimes come to drink — a beautiful sight to witness. All guest rooms are located on the second floor. They also plan to open a restaurant soon on the ground floor.

Hotel Review – Arugambay Location: The hotel is perfectly located in Arugambay, close to nearby shops, the beach, IMC Medical Center, and surfing shops — making it super convenient to get anything you need at any time. Room Quality: I stayed in a Deluxe Room — it was super clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The view was amazing, surrounded by natural forest which added a peaceful and relaxing vibe. Food and Dining: They offered a different style of breakfast every day, along with fresh juice. The taste was absolutely delicious and satisfying. Service and Cleanliness: Both the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, and the entire property was well-maintained. The staff were active 24/7, always friendly and helpful. Facilities: Free high-speed fiber Wi-Fi was available, and it worked perfectly. The hotel also offers good parking space and room service 4 out of 7 days a week. Value for Money: Definitely worth the price — clean rooms, great location, and exceptional service all for a reasonable rate. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Arugambay — for comfort, cleanliness, location, and hospitality.

Affordable accommodation in a great location. short walk to the main part of town with restaurants etc. steps to the beach and not far from main surf break. rooms are decent size and there is and awesome chill area outside. the host Rifai was extremely helpful and accommodating. he gave us tips on the local area and helped us arrange transport to other areas. we loved staying here we came back twice!

Great location on the quiet side of the beach. Only a 5-10 minute walk away from the busier side of town but this makes the difference at night. The staff are very helpful and kind. This is my 2nd time staying and the tree huts are very comfortable and a great base in Arugam Bay.

You are more likely to meet a European than a local here.

You are more likely to meet a European than a local here. This is definately not a reflection on Sri Lankan culture, however the beach town is slow and quiet (realtively speaking) and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. And of coure, the surf is consistent and the water warm. It's a winner for a beach holiday.

The best feature of Arugam Bay is the surrounding jungle, lakes and lagoons. The main beach is very busy but other beaches, such as Peanut Farm are less crowded, Do thye Lagoon Safari and a park safari but also try surfing and relaxing on the beach.
