This was the most valuable part of our entire trip. The staff at the guesthouse go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and help you organise everything from transport to tours. The owner Kong, took us on a tour of the Plain of Jars and went out of his way to take us to all three sites, arrange our lunch, take photos, answer all our questions, and educate us on the history of the war in Laos and the impact it has on the country to this day. It is absolutely worthwhile doing a trip out to Phonsavan just to stay here and do the tour with Kong.

Large room and bathroom with perfectly working shower. Quiet neighborhood. Free pick-up. The staffs tries very hard to make the stay pleasant. Mr. Souk is a guide who speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable. Mr. Chinda is also friendly and speaks English.And the young boy Noum is successfuly learning english. We went on 2 days treking with Mr.Souk, everything was excellently organised.

The patron was absolutely marvellous! So friendly and always willing to help. The family succeeded to create a cosy atmosphere, bit like a living room at home. Great breakfast and great support to explore the area. We were lucky to celebrate Hmong new year, which was a surprise and a gift.

I absolutely loved my stay here at NARIXAY hotel. The room was perfect , clean , big , great bed, great value for money etc.. I would also recommend Phet the host as a tour guide if you plan on visiting THE PLAIN OF JARS. I had a lovely day with him and his family visiting the various sites. He was very helpful booking onward travel arrangements also. I highly recommend staying here 10/10 for sure.
