Staffs are friendly, good service, interiors are beautiful, I love the space, I also love the bathroom space..wide ,clean and romantically designed. Exquisite! My husband and I had a great time in this hotel. Foods served was great! Pool area is good as well..the staff entertain us well. Served good food. I highly recommend this hotel. Located is perfect. It's walkable to night market, massage spa , restaurant, coffee shops, mekong river and live bands. :) My hubby and I are gonna go back here in the future. 😍

📍Location: very central, close to night market and very safe walking at night time. Very close to the airport (7-9 minute drive depending on traffic) so overall the location suited my needs perfectly! 🛌 Room: excellent bed, well functioning air conditioning, super bathroom amenities and complimentary water much appreciated. I slept very well at night even given how central the location is. 🧖‍♀️Spa: I opted for a spa package 1 hour traditional Lao massage and 1 hour facial treatment and was so delighted with the experience. 🍽️ Breakfast: included in room rate, breakfast buffet had a variety of western and Asian options to suit all tastes and service was very efficient. I also had a negroni at their bar and it was probably the nicest negroni I’ve ever had. 🌟 Staff: The staff here are welcoming, friendly and attentive. It made all the difference.

Good welcome. Very efficient staff, smiling and speaking English. Impeccable cleanliness. The floor of the room and bathroom are impeccable. The sheets and towels are immaculate and smell good. The cleaning service cleans the room, changes the sheets and towels and gives 2 bottles of water every day. Very Quiet. Free morning time coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby. Shared microwave in the lobby. Reservation of a tuktuk to go to the train station, the driver was on time. Perfect. I highly recommend.

Wonderfully comfortable beds, incredibly helpful staff, retro-charme :) We extended our stay for another night, because we just liked the beds so much :D It feels like a hotel from a different era. The bathroom was very clean and the city center was just a 10 min walk away.

Vientiane is a good place to have a night in between...

Vientiane is a good place to have a night in between travelling via the trains. Sticky fingers is a nice cafe to eat and you can get around easily on tuktuks there. Recommend only a day as Luang Prabang is amazing and you won't want to leave.

Wonderful area to explore, many Temples, Patuxay Victory Monument is not far away and great at sunset to early evening when water fountain puts on a great light show. Riverfront night markets fun park plenty of choices for food.

Nice and clean.

Nice and clean. Local Food at the night markets along the Mekong is relatively expensive. I suppose we were at the tourists food stalls. As for the tok tok, whilst there are prices printed on a laminated A4 it appeared high and open to negotiations. Can Laos tourist authorities ensure fixed reasonable prices. Bus fares are very reasonable and affordable. However there appeared a big discrepancy for bus fare from Vienteine Bus station to Friendship bridge (longer journey and inexpensive) compared to Bus service crossing the bridge which is so much shorter journey but so much higher in fares.

Sleepy small town by the river, relaxing if you come from a large city like BKK or VTE. Rent a bike and take a tour along the river. Don’t forget to visit the spectacular Buddha park (sister to the Vientiane version). It is a good stop to relax a few days on your way to / from Laos.

30 years ago I was last time im Vientiane.

30 years ago I was last time im Vientiane. In the meantime it has become a monster of roads, concrete and glass -fronts, just like Bangkok it has now emerged into a meaningless Chinese city.: Asians want to be Europeans who came down from Tibet many years back.

It was bigger than I thought it was.

It was bigger than I thought it was. Many temples further up in the mountains were definitely places to add to your list. I loved the views from the Mekong across to Laos, the markets in the town by the river, the night market by the station and of course all the temples were great to visit. I stayed at the Park and Pool resort which had great service, rooms and a nice pool.
