The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The highlight of my stay was definitely the beautiful river view — opening the window to such peaceful scenery made my stay incredibly relaxing, especially during sunrise and sunset. The staff were exceptionally kind, always helpful, and quick to respond to any request. Although the hotel does not serve breakfast, they recommended a nearby place with affordable and tasty options. Overall, this hotel is a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. I was completely satisfied and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Perfect stay. We booked 2 nights at Amanda riverside. Room very clean, hot shower, wifi. The view from the room is beautiful, view on Nam Ou river and mountains. Staff friendly. Very good money/value. I highly recommend

If someone asked me to describe heaven, I would picture a place like **Sook Village**. I don’t remember the last time I felt so much at home, surrounded by such amazing people. **Honey** was an incredible manager, organizing everything, helping with planning, and always making sure we were comfortable. And the cook, **Peht**, was truly exceptional. The food was so good that I never even thought about looking for another place to eat. You have the mountains right in front of you and a small river flowing through the village. I’m still amazed, wondering if it was a dream or real. I usually like trying different places, but when I come back to Nong Khiaw, I won’t stay anywhere else but **Sook Village**. Thank you so much for everything.

This was the nicest room we stayed at in the last 6 months of travelling. When we arrived, we were upgraded to one of the bungalows on the water. Even for full price, it would be a great place to stay. The place was so modern and nice. They had a bathtub, an amazing shower with a glass to keep the water from going around the toilet. The deck was right on the water so you could dive in right from your place. Amenities we're good, they provide a kettle, a mini fridge, a small table and a chair and stool, mugs, soap, toothbrushes, and clean towels. The bed was so comfortable! Everything was clean and well maintained. The bangalow rocked a bit when boats would pass, which was odd at first, but I thought it was nice. Breakfast consisted of eggs (or sausage), bread, butter, jam, and fruit. I especially liked the fruit. Bonus: they let us pay with credit card and didn't charge an extra 3%.

I had an amazing stay! The bungalow was literally right on the river, with big windows that gave me a breathtaking view of both the water and the mountains from the moment I woke up. In the mornings, the mountains were covered in mist, which made the scenery absolutely magical. The staff were wonderful—always helpful and kind. They assisted me with extra tickets, laundry, and anything else I needed. The room was spotless, and everything was well taken care of. A truly memorable stay—I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I couldn’t be happier about our stay. The rooms are new, clean and roomy and most importantly: you get perfect, unobstructed views of the mountains on the other side of the river. They also have a free shuttle to take you back to and from town whenever you like.
