We recently stayed at The Secret Luang Prabang hotel during our honeymoon, and it was a lovely experience. The hotel had a charming and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a romantic getaway. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-decorated, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring we got plenty of rest after a day of sightseeing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests we had. We were welcomed with a small gift, which was a thoughtful touch for our honeymoon. The hotel is conveniently located near major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant, which offered delicious local dishes. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and affordable place to stay during their honeymoon. We would love to return in the future!

We had an absolutely lovely time at the Burasari Heritage. We had already stayed at the Bursari in Phuket a number of times so were fond of the brand. There were a couple of things that really stood out about staying at the Burasari Heritage: 1. The staff were absolutely gorgeous, friendly and welcoming 2. The whole vibe of the hotel is kinda cool colonial 3. The location is just superb easy access to everywhere The hotel also arranged our tour of the Kuang Si Waterfalls with Sanya which was an absolute highlight and I totally recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Rosewood. We were able to experience this wonderful place for a longer time (6 nights). The staff was absolutely exceptional and made this stay feel like a second honeymoon. The place in itself is heaven, and all activities we did were top notch (the Mandalao elephants, the city tour and the sunset cruise). The room decoration and architecture from Bill Bensley are wonderful. We want to extend our sincere thanks again to the team for all these efforts to make this trip exceptional and for their kindness.

We enjoyed our stay so much, the staff and management are unbelievably helpful. They really do everything they can to make you feel welcome. We were so happy to have chosen this hotel. The setting is so peaceful and beautiful with large grounds and very beautiful rooms and amazing views of the river and mountains. The room is large and the bed is super comfortable and we really liked the breakfast. Pool is great too. Easy shuttle to go into town.

Location was great, and we loved biking around the town on the bikes provided by the hotel. It was also easy to walk from the hotel as well. The food was mostly outstanding, the staff very friendly with excellent English. We loved the architecture and layout of the hotel, and the pool was amazing.

A fairy tale town in a lovely country.

A fairy tale town in a lovely country. One of the world's best (and I've seen more than my share), Such lovely people. The power of a smile!!! You'll quickly recognise the better eateries, of which there are plenty for all tastes. Bouang was one. If you want photographs - and you will - just be patient: crowds clear, clouds clear, and you will get your lifetime best photos!

A wonderful place with a lovely atmosphere set in beautiful surroundings. There are numerous high quality restaurants and cafes which won't break the bank. Make sure you climb Phousi Mountain for the sunrise, rather than wait for sunset, as it is far quieter. Other places to visit apart from the main Wats (which are lovely) and the Palace, is the craft Centre, OK Pop Tok, where you can watch weaving and silk making and the small but interesting Museum of Ethnology. Be prepared for large, noisy coach groups at the Palace.

Arrived in Luang Prabang after weeks traveling around South East Asia. Considered traveling around Laos but decided to wind down, relax, and enjoy the one location. Couldn't have picked a better spot. It is calm, unhurried, relaxed, people exceptionally nice, food excellent. We had no hassle, market traders didn't 'push' nor did tour operators, very pleasant. Main street shopping enjoyable, with lots of good restaurants and bars. We arranged a private boat trip to the Buddha cave, going in the afternoon when there were very few people. timing it so we arrived back in Luang Prabang to catch sunset on Mekong while onboard. Boat trip up Mekong a pure pleasure. Luang Prabang is very walk able, not very big, but we found it absolutely lovely to visit and would happily add on to next itinerary especially when looking for a quiet place.
