This place was such a lovely surprise. Quiet street, yet super close to the night market and temples. The staff greeted us with cold drinks and big smiles. The room was spotless, with a comfy bed and a big shower. Breakfast was homemade with fresh fruit and local dishes — so delicious. It really felt like home.

The hotel opened a few weeks ago, and is ideally located, Being brand new, the facilities are beautiful. The rooms are very nice, and the swimming pool is awesome. Breakfast is great as well. But the best thing about this Hotel is the staff. The people working there are the sweetest ever. Whatever your needs are, they'll do their utmost best to meet them. We stayed 8 days there, and everything was just perfect all along. Thanks!

I had a truly wonderful experience at Dream 1985 Hotel. The location is perfect — tucked in a quiet lane but still within walking distance to the night market and main attractions in Luang Prabang. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. I especially loved the balcony with a view of the pool — such a relaxing space to enjoy a morning coffee. The bed was super comfortable and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. The staff were incredibly warm, helpful, and kind. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, from arranging transportation to giving local tips. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, eggs, and local options — a perfect start to the day.

This was a very nice boutique hotel, just a 5-minute walk from the night market. The rooms were spacious and gave us a premium feel. We were welcomed with juice and a fruit plate, and they unexpectedly carried our luggage to the room. We had comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The breakfast was more varied than the previous place, and they even tried to serve custom-made coffee. Unfortunately, they don’t really know what a real cappuccino is — but the effort counts.

Location. Garden. Quiet room in a quiet street. Very nice area with good restaurants around the corner. Close to everything. Nice and helpful staff. Good cleaning. Good french style breakfast with fresh baugettes, excellent Lao coffee, omelette, yoghurt, fresh fruit. We believe we found the best place in Luang Prabang ;-)

It was a nice trip to Luang Prabang.

It was a nice trip to Luang Prabang. The place I stayed right on the Mekong River and the markets so the location was perfect. However, the hotel was kind of run down so we were a little bit sad. The people were friendly and helpful even their English is limited or non-existent. The tours was reasonable and interesting, especially the Kuangsi Waterfalls and Pakou Caves. The street food was awesome and cheap. Above all, LP definitely a must see city in Laos.

A fairy tale town in a lovely country.

A fairy tale town in a lovely country. One of the world's best (and I've seen more than my share), Such lovely people. The power of a smile!!! You'll quickly recognise the better eateries, of which there are plenty for all tastes. Bouang was one. If you want photographs - and you will - just be patient: crowds clear, clouds clear, and you will get your lifetime best photos!
