We recently stayed at The Secret Luang Prabang hotel during our honeymoon, and it was a lovely experience. The hotel had a charming and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a romantic getaway. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-decorated, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring we got plenty of rest after a day of sightseeing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests we had. We were welcomed with a small gift, which was a thoughtful touch for our honeymoon. The hotel is conveniently located near major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant, which offered delicious local dishes. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and affordable place to stay during their honeymoon. We would love to return in the future!

Everything! What a fabulous hotel. Staff were exceptional! Washing machines available to guests were so useful. Free shuttle to/ from the main area (night market) were so useful and you just WhatsApp and they would confirm pick up.

Loved my stay at Maison Dalabua, the hotel and its grounds were beautiful with lovely garden and ponds. The room was perfect and the breakfast was great. The location is a few minutes walk to the Old Quarter and other attractions like museums. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby as well. Staff were super nice and helped to arrange transport to go around, and manager Raphael was also very helpful in recommending things to do. Would definitely recommend and I look forward to visiting again!

The Apsara is a lovely characterful building that is very well appointed and in keeping with the style and age. Our room had everything needed for a very comfortable stay (7 nights) and we could have stayed longer. The hotel is well positioned making exploring Luang Prabang easy. Luang Prabang a lovely place to visit and to spend time and staying at the Apsara enhanced this. Good English spoken by the staff and excellent assistance when help needed.

The property is centrally located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Family run and very friendly staff. Rooms are super clean and the property surrounding in general is extremely well kept. Nice breakfast in the morning. You can ask the reception to arrange offerings for you to give in the morning to the monks passing in front of the hotel at 5:30-6am.

We were so lucky to have 5 nights at this beautiful resort. I cannot say enough about the facilities and staff. We had no activities pre-arranged and Sam and his staff organized the most amazing trips to incredible destinations with every small detail included. They were always there when we returned with a big smile to welcome us back.

Love literally everything about the place. Extremely professional, kind, welcoming staff. During the day we got fresh, delicious lemonade. Staff also helped us book our train tickets. Delicious breakfast. Room was very clean and comfortable. At the end we got gift from the hotel - beautiful handmade bag. Recommend this place.

Location was great, and we loved biking around the town on the bikes provided by the hotel. It was also easy to walk from the hotel as well. The food was mostly outstanding, the staff very friendly with excellent English. We loved the architecture and layout of the hotel, and the pool was amazing.

UNESCO World Heritage site with buildings dating from the French Colonial days. If you love temples, then Luang Prabang is the place to go. The town is generally very tidy and well maintained and is easy to get around. Well worth a visit!

Luang Prabang is a peaceful and beautiful city, perfect for relaxing. I enjoyed the calm atmosphere, friendly people and the mix of culture and nature everywhere. Getting around the city is quite easy — most places are walkable, and you can also use tuk-tuks for longer distances. There are many nice cafés and restaurants, and trying local Lao food was one of the highlights. The temples, night market and riverside areas are great to explore. For families with children, the city is safe and not too crowded, with plenty of outdoor spots to enjoy. Overall, it’s a lovely place to visit and I would definitely come again.

The city has numerous amenities that will make ones stay very enjoyable: great eating places, very easy to walk around, very safe, river dining/trips, adventure opportunities such as waterfalls, caves. The best part is the Mandalao Elephant Sanctuary, excellent experience interacting with the elephants in their natural habitat. Laos Buffalo Dairy, Luang Prabang Yoga, Big Brother Mouse House, numerous Massage options, and just relaxing!!
