We didn’t just stay at this hotel ,we experienced it.We got the best hospitality. From the moment we stepped through the doors until the last minute of checking out.We even got some freshly baked cookies and a beautiful handmade decor piece as appreciation gifts. The staff, not just polite but happy to assist/help and ever smiling. The location is fantastic.The gym ,laundry room,swimming pool area,the deck,the food ,just perfect. I would rate the hotel 11/10 if possible.

Super clean and reserved environment! Great staffs and customer service too. I was offered two complementary drinks upon my arrival. Also, the rooms had a lot of junk food in it and also, they have really great and tasty meals. I was also taken to the forest reserve with the hotel’s conceirge service for free. Our stay at Drexel was truly wonderful. The staff and the manager are incredibly helpful and accommodating, and go out of their way to help you and to ensure your comfort. The rooms are spacious, the food is lovely, and the common spaces were all very comfortable. I would highly recommend for anyone who looking to stay near the Karen area of Nairobi.

I wouldn't hesitate to return to this beautiful lodge. In fact, I would make sure to have an extra night or two at the beginning of a safari trip so that we could have a couple of nights at Ololo. We loved our room in the old stables-the bed and pillows were especially comfortable! The staff are wonderful and did everything they could to ensure our comfort. Meals were top notch and house wines and spirits were more than adequate. We took advantage of the morning and evening game drives and were thrilled to see such a variety of animals in a relatively small game park! We also really enjoyed our visit to Sheldrick Trust to see the work that they are doing to support orphaned elephants. Magical! Lastly the pickup and drop-off service makes navigating the airport and Nairobi a breeze.

The apartment was spacious, luminous, clean and fully equipped. Thorough house keeping everyday. The kitchen has everything you need from pots and pans to cutlery and everything in between to make the self catered experience wholesome. There is a supermarket at the Yaya centre which is super convenient for quick grocery shopping. Jacinta at the reception desk has been helpful and accommodating from the booking process to the last day, always with a smile!

Safety is the best of Karen.

Safety is the best of Karen. It's quiet, a lot of nature, sidewalks (so good for walking/running). Waterfront mall has everything you need, CJ's restaurant are high quality. Same with Naivas markets. It might be hard to get public transport, but Uber-Bolt are in 1000s. Giraffe center and Waterfront amusement are great places to visit. The Legend restaurant is more than amazing too.

Really unsafe place, the whole Kenya in general.

Really unsafe place, the whole Kenya in general. People are not welcome with tourist at all. They care only to take money without even providing the necessary. For what they are providing the prices are selling is extremely high. Food and water from wherever we ate during 14 days caused us illness. Kenya worth it only for safari 3-4 days are enough to leave the country with good impression. Pick up and drop off from the airport and straight to safari.
