The staff is absolutely brilliant, both at the reception and at the restaurant/bar. The room is extremely spacious, with A/C, the bed comfortable, and it was very clean. The location right on the beach was amazing. It's great value for money, we will definitely return on our next trip to Mombasa.

This was our third time at PrideInn and we will be back, because we love it so much. I truly believe it is THE best hotel in Kenya for a holiday ( I have stayed at and visited many). It's the perfect place for a family with kids of any age, you can be both entertained or you can retreat to the quiet parts of the resort and of course the beautiful private or public beaches. My kids (13 & 16) loved swimming, the water aerobics, and beach volleyball in the evening the most. Having said that, I would also visit on my own or with friends, as it is equally good to carve yourself out a sanctuary. This year, we stayed there for 12 nights in late July / early August and the weather was perfect. Rooms are designed in a way, you are in touch with the beautiful outside. The resort is stunning with views to the sea. Food is plentiful, very tasty, and all options are very natural & healthy. What I loved as a mom, was that I could get my rest, while the kids were out and about from morning to late evening on their own having their best time and making friends. The staff at PridesInn are the best, I want to give my special thanks to Duncan (room services), Hisami (reception), Faith & Gladys (restaurant), and Denis (manager of entertainment), they all rock! But honestly so many more staff deserve recognition. Thanks for everything and until next time!

I absolutely loved this boutique hotel. The staff is amazing. Kind professional, warm attitude, we felt at home and everyone tried hard to make our stay a perfect experience and it was indeed. The decoration is perfect. This hotel from the 60's has a soul. The breakfast buffet was perfect. We had dinner as well every evening. It was good and affordable. The pool area was welcoming. We would like to greet and thank all the members of the staff from security guards to receptionists (even if we arrived late at night made their best with the kitchen staff to bring us snacks in the bedroom) the waiters and Waitresses from both evening restaurant and breakfast are wonderful And of a special thank you to Karen their amazing manager who puts her energy and Heart in this lovely hotel. I had a fantastic stay at Reef Hotel in Nyali. The staff were warm and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special with a decorated room, singing, dancing, and a surprise cake during dinner. The beachfront location is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent with a mix of Swahili dishes, fresh fruits, omelettes, pastries, and cereals. A perfect blend of relaxation, great service, and Kenyan hospitality — highly recommended!

The people and their culture. Very friendly community. Their traditional Madafu drink from the coconut calms the body system, their traditional food roasted and deep fried cassava was mouth watering. Easy to get from the beach to the street vendors. It’s Holiday time, Mombasa is the place to be.

It is not a place for a holiday, I was there to check on some of my Property but I was frustrated because I ended up staying for more Days than I had wanted. It is loud and congested.but if one has his own home is Ok but there are other nice places to enjoy and have fun It easy to get round Mtwapa, by Tax Tuk tuk and motor Bikes and public means of transport called Matatus.

Nyali has got all the beauties everyone imagines. Though the property I stayed in was not good due to lack of information while choosing, Nyali hosts all the epic places any person feels so excited. Am really amazed with Mombasa in general and Nyali in particular. Crime rate feels zero level. People are very supportive and amazing. Mombasa/ Nyali has been beyond my expectation! I enjoyed it! Appreciative of Kenyans - wonderful people!

Victoria courts is one of the worst apartment.. will not recommend to any visitor because you will not like the hospitality there.. the rooms were not as per my specification and they didn’t bother to listen to me after reaching out to them severally. I had booked for 5 nights fully paid but had to spend one night and forego the 4 nights. They didn’t refund my money though and the didn’t care. Clients be warned!!!

Absolutely loved the really warm sea, clean beaches which were never overcrowded with safe places to leave ones things. Wild Water was great fun with no long queues for the slides and tubes, Fort Jesus was really interesting and a great look back into the history of the place. Very easy to get around with vans, taxis and tuk-tuks, not sure I would want to drive myself, very hectic. Mombasa has two distinct sides, the modern shopping malls and the traditional side of Kenya with it's little street shops and stalls with I love. I would defiantly recommend as a visit and already looking forward to my next trip.

Hotel is in good location,good sea view, condusive and friendly employees. Except that the property needs serious renovations and improvements on foods catering. Otherwise the rest was good and we enjoyed our stay.

Its a nice town bustling with activity and its proximity to other amenities such as clubs, many nice restaurants, supermarkets, shops is very nice. Transport is easily available to other parts of the town, very friendly people, a variety of restaurants serving local dishes, barbeque chicken is a favourite and readily available every evening.

You have to know that Nyali is not a quiet place.

You have to know that Nyali is not a quiet place. At night you can hear many nightclubs but at least they stopped at a certain time. The beach is also crowded but offers many different amenities. It is not an upscale destination like it used to be

Always fun to be here.

Always fun to be here. I will always come back many times over. Love the old town, the food and the mixed cultures. Full of spice, oriental and african and arabic such a cross roads. A city that is older than the country just pure beauty. Loved every second of it
