Sarova Woodlands Hotel is beautifully set up with very plush reception area and very smart and friendly and professional staff. Bedrooms were very comfortable and in a very quiet location. Unfortunately the Spa was unavailable due to refurbishment which was disappointing as we were really looking forward to a swim and use of the Spa after our busy travel around Kenya.

Location is central with shopping mall nearby to get currency or sett up cashless mpasa as national park does not accept currency in any form. All staff very helpful to advise on this. Place is clean with lots of fruit choices good quality coffees. Good value for money. Beds very comfortable. Good size pool. We would come again.

When you arrive at the reception you meet a fantastic woman named "Angelina" who takes care of you in a professional manner. She really bears the name Angel because she was my angel to help and understand most things. She is without a doubt a great resource for the hotel. I got a room you can only dream of. Well-cleaned, large and full of everything. The restaurant offers a fantastic breakfast and they are open 24 hours with a buffet with local and other types of food.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The huts are spacious, very beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly, for Valentines days dinner we even got to meet the owner who was very super friendly and made our stay as comfortable as possible. Nice pool and dinner area. We also got to visit the orphanage of Ziwa bush lodge which was a unique experience (make sure to bring sweets!) Can highly recommend.

It is a great place to be with lot of facilities making it...

It is a great place to be with lot of facilities making it convenient for a weekend get away- the road is great, smooth though with traffic you may experience a bit of jam. Lots of option for eating and places to visit including Menengai, Hyrax hill, Lord Egerton castle and Njoro caves for hikes and picnicking experience

Web site a bit misleading as it appears to be on the lake but in fact there is no lake access but a tiny view of it if you walk to the far end of the garden and peer through the trees. Garden very over grown and has run down feel. Lovely lady who runs the place who did everything she could to welcome us. Quite basic room but value for money. A few campers - basic breakfast available

The food was great, the hot showers amazing. The views from our room was perfect .... could see the park well. The staff were all pleasant, and helpful. The lodge organised a tour guide for us.... Patrick was amazing and very patient on the game drive.... we were happy with the drive. Agnes was always very reassuring and always ready to help. The front office staff always very welcoming. We got to the lodge very late on the day of arrival, and Waithera at the front desk, kept engaging with us until we got there. She was very encouraging. The kitchen staff had kept dinner for us even that late. Thank you so much. Definately I place I would love to return to.

Kabarak University Nakuru town campus is one of the areas I...

Kabarak University Nakuru town campus is one of the areas I visited and was utterly impressed by how clean, well-constructed, strategically situated, warm-welcoming and beautiful place it is. Their buses are relatively new and comfortable. The eateries surrounding this campus offer great fish and fresh juices. Westside Mall was a blast and Bolt taxi services are very helpful especially in the night. I will avoid a short vacation next time; everyone needs at least 6 days to really experience the good side of Nakuru alias Naks-Vegas..
