The wonderul staff team at Mukima spoiled us with kindness, presented us with beautiful meals and looked after our every need. Waking up each morning to the splendid view of Mount Kenya framed by the beautiful grounds is something we'll never forget. The 1930's country house has been lovingly restored and beautifully furnished. And let's not forget the pool, gardens, private lake and walking paths. There are many interesting things to do in the area. We spent an unforgettable day at the Ol Pajeta Conservancy.

A great spot for a getaway to Nanyuki. The Inn is tucked away from the hub bub. There's a nice restaurant on site that provides a good breakfast and is valuable for other meals. The rooms are a good size with a large bed. Everything is very clean. It's a great space to explore the nearby conservation areas including Ol Pejeta and Ngare Ndare. Kelvin is an excellent host and the other staff are top notch. He took great care of us and also arranged the logistics for our activities. There are also some great local restaurants nearby. High value for reasonable prices. We expect to return!

The location was great to visit Nanyuki, mount Kenya and Ol Pejeta conservancy. Walking distance from the railway station, which is very convenient if you take the scenic train to or from Nairobi. The Hotel is new and a few non important features are not yet completed but it is already very charming and comfortable. They let us to choose among 3 rooms which was very nice. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The breakfast is really good! They also helped with organizing any activity.

Comfortable, good location slightly out of town, excellent breakfast Organizations of trips available, including mount Kenya. We went through Sirimon path and went on the other side with chogoria path to see both sides (which we really advise as the scenery is very different). The owner has good recommendations of guides who can come to discuss the trip and pick you up for departure. Material is available (gloves, jacket, etc) and you can leave your own bags or bikes at the hotel. We really recommend asking for Martin as a guide - kind, attentive, discrete but eager to talk about the country if wished.
