A very new hotel, so facilities were especially clean and good looking. Room was spacious, and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was a delicious Japanese breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel before starting out on the Kumano Kodo.

The breakfast portion was very generous, and I ate my fill. There was a variety of dishes, and the tamagoyaki seemed to be freshly made—it was hot. In the morning, having a bowl of miso soup with rice along with various side dishes made my stomach very comfortable. The evening kaiseki meal is also lavish, with very fresh sashimi. I recommend the beef. The hotel also recommends other restaurants and scenic routes.
