It was a long drive up the Noto Peninsula and we had to drive along a narrow road through a short stretch of forest before we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful facade of the hotel. The entire stay was a pampering experience. The view from the room was amazing. Both dinner and breakfast were exquisitely prepared and served in private rooms. We had a 50 min private bath which was extremely soothing. There were small zen gardens, libraries in a corner, and cupboards full of yukatas of different colors and designs. These were very pleasant to the eyes. I also liked how courteous and attentive the hotel staff were.

A place to relax in . All the experience exceeded my expectations. They had treats that were not mentioned in booking like panckes in the afternoon, happy hour, free juice/ tea etc , puding in the evening and even a short traditional performance The staff went out of his way to accomodate my dietry restrictions. All food served in an elegant way. The public onsen was clean and pleasant actually i had it to myself. When using the outdoor they give you a special towel to cover yourself The private onsens also were clean nice and pleasant The shuttle bus to and from kagaonsen station very convenient Overall excelent

Another The Share hotel to love! We also stayed in the one in Hiroshima and this one has the same concept. Perfect location, very friendly staff, lovely redecorated old building, great design, lovely rooms and very good beds, bathroom and facilities. We are a family of 4 with 2 young adult kids and we stayed in a spacious room with 2 normal beds and 2 bunkbeds above them. We also had a couch and good closet space, plenty of room for our luggage. We also really loved Kanazawa!

This place was a big surprise almost at the end of our trip: you enter the lobby and some (paper) cherry blossoms fall down ... The very nice room had a view towards the river. The lobby has many features from sweets, to rice cakes, plenty of choices for a yukata (yes, big sizes, too!) and soft ice at night. The private baths are nice and need a prebooking upon arrival for the afternoon and evening. Should have stayed more than one night ...

The property is beautiful, clean and the indoor garden is beautiful. I like the washing and dryer machine available for guests use. We got a corner family room which is so nice and comfortable. Overall, we like this hotel. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast is one of the best in the whole trip of all the hotels.

Kanazawa was a really nice experience.

Kanazawa was a really nice experience. It has a lot of different things to do and most of them are walking distance (if staying in a centric area). Breakfast was tough to obtain, for some reason we had a hard time finding local places open early in the morning. But overall, it is a great place to visit. It has the sea and mountains. Plenty of shrines, museums and shopping malls.

Nanta-dera is only a 15 minute drive away which was beautiful with the autumn leaves. The walk along the river in Yamanaka is stunning all year round. Yamanake is famous for wood turning so there is plenty of crafts to see. Nearby and also huge ancient cedar trees and it is an area of plentiful hot springs.

The hotel was fantastic, evening and more than my team expected! We loved the traditional clothing and meals, especially dinner. The breakfast for most Americans is a little rough. The hot springs were EPIC and the swimming was just right. Thank you

The seaside accomodation was just as advertised.

The seaside accomodation was just as advertised. The host was helpful and a delight. She made sure we had a lovely 2 nights there. Rooms were well presented and large with amenities that were first rate. The glass manufacture workshop and the glass museum were well woth the trip. The glass gallery is world class and the architecture special and suited to its location. The aquarium was disappointing. Show was good but the maintenance of the facility needs work.

Very beautiful town.

Very beautiful town. There's so many places of interest to visit, we did not cover all even though we spent 3 nights there. We will be back again. We were surprised that there's so many things made of gold in Kanazawa.

The onsen was totally Japanese in style and attention to detail, very relaxing and with a staff dedicated to providing the best service. They were attentive and helpful. The forest near the onsen was beautiful for hiking and contemplating nature. Loved it. I will definitely return and to the same onsen.

Much quieter than Tokyo of course but it’s buzzing and...

Much quieter than Tokyo of course but it’s buzzing and brimming with yummy restaurants, fun bars and amazing views of old historical Japan with the tea and samurai districts. US equivalent would be Savannah as many of the old houses have been maintained or restored for modern use while keeping the antiquated look. Plenty to see and do in 2-4 days.
