Breakfast is excellent, including delicious natural juices and marmalades made from local fruits, and the restaurant is really cool. The hotel is very close to the airport which is why I stayed there, as I had an early morning flight. Despite being near the airport The noise from planes is not noticeable. A free shuttle bus is available on a frequent basis. The hotel is spacious, very clean and the staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel is in a beautiful nature-filled, park-like environment.

The staff went above and beyond to help locate a restaurant and a few bakeries close by for his surprise 50th birthday dinner. If we had questions about sight seeing to mayajima and what not they were able to answer them. The included breakfast was a money/time saver, lots of options and very tasty. Lots of free amenities in case you forgot yours at home.

Really friendly staff, a good siced and clean room and a very good location. Hiroshima was a great city to visit. This hotel is very recommended. We were also allowed to leave our luggage at the departure day until our train left in the afternoon. Also we got free umbrellas to walk around when there was rain.

Beautiful city / loved the fresh “greenness” the river, the parks and gardens, the food of course. The Memorial Park is bleak…. as it should be… it is very well done… I went there 3 times. We should never forget.

The main reasson to visit was the Itsukushima Shrine but there was plenty of other shrines and temples to visit. The ropeway to Mt, Misen was great. The hike down not so much (not a trail, mainly steps - hard on the knees.

The town itself is nice but not too special. Plenty of good places to eat and many shops, but the main attraction is the startof the Shimanami Kaido bike route of course, it is gorgeous and highly recommended!

Silent small town, just next to the station you have castle, not that frequently operating local trains from this station. To reach Hiroshima I had to take a bus and could not find local trains. Shinkansen is available, so those who dont worry about Shinkansen prices then it is super easy.

Mihara is a pocket of suburban quiet within the larger area of Hiroshima. Within easy ferry access of Okunoshima (Rabbit) Island, the Mihara area provides quiet, budget-friendly accommodations, and local specials. Mihara station also acts as a stop for the Shinkansen, so it is a great place to act as a base town during your travel. Please visit Mihara!

Kure is a great place for travelers who have an interest in Naval history, owing to Kure's long history as a naval port and the birthplace of famous ships like the battleship Yamato and aircraft carrier Akagi. The following restaurants were recommended to me so I also recommend them to future travelers! - Tone-honten (Curry Rice) - Dosanko Kure Hondori (Ramen) - Morisu (Ramen) - Jiyuken (Omurice) There is a rental bicycle service offered by JR by the station for 500円 where the bikes can be rented starting from 0800hrs and returned by 2000hrs.

Miyajima was great for walking around and doing the ropeway to the top. A lot of little eateries and street food- good if you like seafood. Scenic with the giant Tori gate and shrines, woods, deer walking around. Miyajima was one of my favorite spots on our trip to Japan.

Onomichi is a picturesque and walkable city with lots of charm. You can stroll the vintage shotegai, visit the art museum, enjoy a snack at Onomichi U2, take a temple walk, ride the ropeway, and of course, biking the Shimanami Kaido. The people are friendly and the food and shopping are great.
