Our family stay there for 3 nights during December 2024. Very cozy and comfortable experience. Close to ski entrance in walking distance. Rika made different and delicious breakfast for us every morning and Gareth took very good care to us, even lend us cash when we forgot our wallet on the way to ski. We will visit this beautiful place again for sure. Perhaps, in Summer.

A delicious breakfast with a nice view on the mountain was superb! The host was so kind that they ran to get us some umbrellas when they saw us going out in the rain. The room was really nice, clean and well equipped.

This is a boutique hotel . We had one of the larger rooms which was very comfortable and immaculate. The free washer dryers were extremely handy and the hotel indoor onsen never busy The staff were exceptional. Not intrusive but there when needed They also very kindly forwarded me my small jewellery case which I had left in the room The location was great for access to the ski lifts and the restaurants in Kitanomine.

The manager Adrian was very friendly and nice. They offer free shuttle from Furano Jr station on check-in and check-out day. The room is pretty spacious, and the bed is pretty comfortable to sleep in. The public onsen is way better than how it looks in the picture. Cozy lobby with big TV equipped with Switch, PS5 and XBOX series X all free to play with. Free ski equipment storage space under the hostel. Free shuttle service to ski area (about 3 times in the morning 3 times in the afternoon)

The log is gorgeous! I have stayed for 2 nights. We wound definitely love to stay at the place again! The breakfast is super yummy and got great variety!! And the food in breakfast would change each day and you will never get bored of it! The hosts are super nice, warm with big smile everyday! And they are super helpful and kind! They have given me a hiking pole when they found out that my ankle got hurt and cannot walk properly ! How lucky I am for meeting such nice hosts and staying in such a beautiful place! Will definitely come back again if I visit Furano!!

The room is spacious and clean, with its own very cute tatami room and pair of yukata. The location is a bit of a walk to the main town attractions, unless you are renting a car or travelling via tour van/bus. However, hotel reception can help to call the taxis for you and rate is pretty reasonable. The best thing is the breakfast, we are muslim travellers, the management took the effort to show us what is halal and what is not. The next morning, they specifically prepared all meals in halal way though we do not ask for this. What a great hospitality

The location, close to central Furano, close to all the supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacy and 北之峰ski zone. the interior and exterior design of this cottage are vey thoughtful, chill & relax, the facilities are so down to details, we had Shabu-Shabu in the house. rooms are always super warm with even only the gas heater on, the caretaker helped clear the way for my car during heavy snows. Communications was nice and easy

There were two bedrooms, each with a full shower & toilet bathroom. The beds were firm with good pillows. The flat was clean and the kitchen had enough to cook meals. Location was very convenient & there was parking for 2 cars. It was only a few minutes drive from the Furano Ski Resort. The heat worked well & it was a new building.

We booked a deluxe apartment for 2 families ( 4 adults 5 kids ) , we have the whole house for ourselves ( 4 bedrooms on the first floor ) and it is very large with 3 toilets and 3 shower rooms , everything is clean and new . The beds are comfortable too ! Sure will try to come again with my families

It was unexpectedly great!

It was unexpectedly great! It was a quaint little town with lots of restaurants and little shops to explore. If you have a car, you can travel beyond the 5 km range for more touristy spots, but just having a bike means you can already explore a cheese factory, go up the cable car, a nearby winery, a horse riding school and a couple of flower farms. So, it's a great place for people who cannot get hold of a rental car. It's accessible via the JR line from the New Chitose Airport, which makes this place a good stopping point for a bit of nature and culture. I stayed for 2 nights, and could have stayed longer while enjoying the changing season.

We like the log home which is very cosy and spacious.

We like the log home which is very cosy and spacious. Our kids are very enjoy the snow outside the house. We skipped one itiernary to stay more hours there. We would like to come back here again soon. We cooked dinner and breakfast which everyone are so happy. Hope to stay more nights!!!

Stay in Kami-furano for fast access to the Tokachi Mountain...

Stay in Kami-furano for fast access to the Tokachi Mountain Range in Daisetsuzan National Park, whether for hiking or for backcountry skiing or snowboarding. The town also has a good selection of restaurants; we only tried one during our stay, but it was excellent and reasonably priced.

We've been twice to Furano.

We've been twice to Furano. It's a wonderfully friendly and relaxed resort. While it's not large by European or American standards, it features fabulously dry powder snow, and great restaurant options at the foot of the slopes and in the adjacent town. The fact that it is small also makes it easy to meet up with friends.

It was end of November we stayed in the area of Kamifurano. The first snow of the season just dropped It is a wonderful area if you want to go into the mountains. It has open air onsen, hotel onsen and plenty of restaurants and coffee bars. Two we want mention, as they were exceding expectations. Kaneko coffebeans and Furano Cafe. Worth a visit!!

Furano was an interesting city town, with enough restaurants...

Furano was an interesting city town, with enough restaurants and markets to find whatever we might need. Both my huband and myself were not feeling well, so it was a good place to relax. All the people at the stores and eating establishments were always helpful and so very polite. There were some amazing views as Furano is surrounded by mountains. Having the ski resort nearby was a bonus.
