I stayed in the 4 bedder apartment. It is a house by itself. We could park 2 cars outside with plenty of space to spare. The house is of pretty good size. Kitchen is well-equipped. Bedrooms are comfortable. During our stay, the temperature went as low as -23°c, but the whole house was well-heated and we didn't feel cold at all until we stepped outside. Owner is friendly and helpful. He is always ready to answer any queries and give advice to guests.

The place best I could’ve asked for my birthday! The highest hotel and Onsen in Hokkaido, this place felt special and perfect for winter. The Onsen was amazing, and the staff was super nice and helpful. I did a snow shoe trek to a frozen waterfall and the guide (Aono-san) was the best guide I could've asked for. It was tough but worth every second. I had a wonderful time here and the best birthday of my life.

There were two bedrooms, each with a full shower & toilet bathroom. The beds were firm with good pillows. The flat was clean and the kitchen had enough to cook meals. Location was very convenient & there was parking for 2 cars. It was only a few minutes drive from the Furano Ski Resort. The heat worked well & it was a new building.

We arrive after a long drive during a snow storm and the staff welcomed us with a smile and they showed us the place! It was nice. The place seems all new and with a lot of facilities, we used the room for the skis and boots. For sure we'll come back

Amazing spread for breakfast! Lady boss was very friendly and welcoming. Within 5 mins drive to Farm Tomita and Furano was just a short 15 mins drive. Cottage was very cosy but do note that there might be small insects around.

It was unexpectedly great!

It was unexpectedly great! It was a quaint little town with lots of restaurants and little shops to explore. If you have a car, you can travel beyond the 5 km range for more touristy spots, but just having a bike means you can already explore a cheese factory, go up the cable car, a nearby winery, a horse riding school and a couple of flower farms. So, it's a great place for people who cannot get hold of a rental car. It's accessible via the JR line from the New Chitose Airport, which makes this place a good stopping point for a bit of nature and culture. I stayed for 2 nights, and could have stayed longer while enjoying the changing season.

We like the log home which is very cosy and spacious.

We like the log home which is very cosy and spacious. Our kids are very enjoy the snow outside the house. We skipped one itiernary to stay more hours there. We would like to come back here again soon. We cooked dinner and breakfast which everyone are so happy. Hope to stay more nights!!!

Stay in Kami-furano for fast access to the Tokachi Mountain...

Stay in Kami-furano for fast access to the Tokachi Mountain Range in Daisetsuzan National Park, whether for hiking or for backcountry skiing or snowboarding. The town also has a good selection of restaurants; we only tried one during our stay, but it was excellent and reasonably priced.

We've been twice to Furano.

We've been twice to Furano. It's a wonderfully friendly and relaxed resort. While it's not large by European or American standards, it features fabulously dry powder snow, and great restaurant options at the foot of the slopes and in the adjacent town. The fact that it is small also makes it easy to meet up with friends.

It was end of November we stayed in the area of Kamifurano. The first snow of the season just dropped It is a wonderful area if you want to go into the mountains. It has open air onsen, hotel onsen and plenty of restaurants and coffee bars. Two we want mention, as they were exceding expectations. Kaneko coffebeans and Furano Cafe. Worth a visit!!

Furano was an interesting city town, with enough restaurants...

Furano was an interesting city town, with enough restaurants and markets to find whatever we might need. Both my huband and myself were not feeling well, so it was a good place to relax. All the people at the stores and eating establishments were always helpful and so very polite. There were some amazing views as Furano is surrounded by mountains. Having the ski resort nearby was a bonus.
