To begin with, we were so happy having decided to stay 3 days in this particular hotel in Petra. In 35 years of travelling we have met very few attentive owners (Ahmad and Mohammad here) of the hotel who got out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The hotel owners even felt responsible for their guests' problems unrelated to the hotel. We had a rental with a dead key fob battery and the first thing we did when we entered the hotel was to ask where we could buy a new battery. The owner Ahmad asked us not to bother and have a rest. He bought the battery himself and refused to take the money. Each time we met one of the owners or a staff member Mahmoud we were asked if we needed something, if everything was fine. The hotel has an underground parking with the lift to upper floors. Our room on the 2nd floor was very spacious, spotless, with a fridge and a kettle and complimentary water. The breakfast was varied, very tasty buns (especially the ones with cinnamon). We found the location excellent for our needs. A five minute drive to Petra visitor centre, a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants , a 3 minute walk to the bakery (try kullaj -flaky pastry). Should we decide to visit Petra again, we will undoubtedly stay in the same hotel.

We booked the family suite for 4 of us. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Toiletries and a hair dryer were provided. Communication was excellent throughout and the hotel helped us book transfers and tours before we even arrived, at very reasonable prices. The location was great, there was a free shuttle service to the main entrance of Petra’s historical site. The hotel manager gave us great advice on the route to take given that we arrived later in the day. There are ATMs, restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. What makes this space special is that the staff/ owners of the hotel genuinely want you to enjoy your time in Petra and went out of their way to make it a comfortable and memorable trip. We really enjoyed our stay, I would highly recommend Anbat Midtown Hotel.

Nice trip here the hotel service is perfect our host Raja is friendly and patient and we will recommend this hotel to you! Being located next to the Petra Visitor Center was ideal as the outstanding museum and entry point to Petra could be reached on foot. And we have a room with a wonderful view over the Museum to the hills. The room was quiet and had everything you needed including a small sofa, minibar and good and free equipment . And buy a great buffet with lots of options. The rooftop pool is absolutely gorgeous - very nice for a dip after a very hot day in Petra. The . The staff was friendly and helpful including valet parking. I was happy to ensure this hotel was not a more expensive option and would definitely stay again

The hotel has an elegant design, with large, spacious, and beautifully decorated rooms featuring very comfortable beds. We were lucky to receive one of the best rooms, with a panoramic window stretching across the entire room and offering a stunning view of Petra. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection of fresh regional dishes — everything was tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. An additional bonus is the rooftop pool. A wonderful experience overall! Highly recommended

The views are amazing. It is the furthest hotel from the village and right at the beginning of the trail. I also found the service from Ali excellent. He did everything we asked and prepared the room perfectly. He was very attentive and is super punctual with the timings he gives for meals and transport. He prepared excellent dinner and breakfast and packed lunches for us to take on our hike. Although we can speak Arabic, we heard him dealing with other guests and his English is excellent. The room was also warm with no drafts even with the wind, rain and storms!

Located amongst the desert mountains, 10 min by car to the main entrance to Petra (visitor center), and 10 min walking distance from the Little Petra entrance, the place cannot be positioned better. If you are coming by a car, it is super-easy to find the camp (has a large free parking area). The camp itself is as beautiful as it can be. The tent was perfect - super comfy beds, with an AC unit, and it is beautifully decorated. The large tent for dinners around an open fireplace is magical. Overall, we truly fel in love with the place and the people. The staff is wonderful, Mohammed and Ahmed, thank you for making our stay so memorable and receiving us as if we were old friends or family. Thank you from my heart. The food was great! They have the most amazing Jordanian cook that prepares the dinners that carry a gentle, meditative energy. There are delicious vegetarian options too. I recommend booking half-board in advance as you will want to forget about everything and let the locals take care of you. Plus there are no grocery shops near by( you will definitely not miss them!). We stayed for 2 nights, however, l wish we stayed longer. I bought a 2-day pass for Petra, and you will need 2 days: 1.day to see Petra from the main entrance and day 2 to enter from the back, starting from the Little Petra. The third day would be perfect for a rest after long walks on day 1 and 2, and to visit a Bedouin cave where some Bedouins still live. We got invited by several Bedouins to spend the sunset with them and have dinner in the cave, but unfortunately we had to leave. Three-nigh stay would be a minimum and l highly recommend staying at Little Petra Bedouin camp. Passing by the other places, l truly believe this is the best option for an unforgettable experience. The silence there, the clean air, the nature, and the amazing people will ensure you wish to return.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Our free upgraded room was clean and spacious. The hotel's location is unbeatable, with the entrance to Petra just right beside it. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness were truly outstanding, and we especially appreciated their prompt responses to our requests. We'd like to express our sincere thanks to Hanadi, Ahmad, and Mohammad, in particular, whose kindness and assistance made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself boasts a restaurant and the renowned Cave Bar. We also appreciated the 20% discount we received for The Basin Restaurant inside Petra. Thank you to the entire team at Petra Guest House Hotel for making our stay so memorable!

We weren’t sure what to expect at Dana Tower Hotel and the pictures don’t do it justice. We originally booked for one night but loved it so much we changed our plans and stayed for two. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a nice bed and a surprisingly high-end bathroom and manages to keep an authentic feel. Hazem and Salma treated us like family from the moment we arrived. I can’t recommend it warmly enough

Our day in Wadi Musa was truly unforgettable — exploring Petra from sunrise to sunset felt like stepping into another world. The walk through the Siq, that first breathtaking glimpse of the Treasury, the climb up countless steps to viewpoints… every bit of it was worth the aching legs. By evening, the city glowed with desert colors and we wrapped up the night with sore feet, full hearts, and endless photos.

Probably my rating or comment is not suitable for every travelers as foreigner but living in Jordan for long time. Definitely, I need 5 star hotels in Dead Sea or Aqaba to refresh myself and my family regularly. But Dana is a great place to also have regular visit as it is located within 2.5 hours range from my home in Amman, and to experience this great nature in reasonable expense. After over 10 years of staying in this country, as a person like to sleep under the millions of stars, Dana is most frequently visited location at the recent years of my life in Jordan.

we have encountered fraudulent behavior on the part of the accommodation operator. after making the reservation via "booking.com" we arrived to the location - meeting with the resort representative "Ahmad" we were taken to another camp resort ( very old, nor matching the pictures during the booking, empty ) being told that the other "camp" is full... but 1 room could still be found - as long as we're happy to pay double price. We accepted as we're in the middle of desert. But this was clearly deliberate fraudulent conduct. Our recommendation would be for Booking.com not to keep contractual relationship with such accommodation providers.

The village has been abandoned and then rebuilt as a hotel. It sits above a valley and has a stunning view that goes all the way to the Dead Sea. The very friendly Musaad made sure that everyone felt welcome and helped. He also set up a guide for our trip to the nearby Sela' fortress, which is a very interesting Nabataean site. A beautiful spot away from the crowds of tourists, a chance to see the real Jordan.

Absolutely beautiful place, but lots of scammers! Locals were very pushy. At first they are overly friendly, but this quickly turns to rude and aggressive if you don't tip, they will lie about directions and then insist they be your guide. Even if you say no they ask for Tip. You just need to be aware of your surroundings and try not to let the scammers bother you.

I loved Wadi Musa for its welcoming people, stunning desert landscape, and its closeness to Petra. If anything “could be better,” it would simply be having even more time to explore and enjoy everything the town and Petra has to offer. Ask about the transfer that drops you off at the top near the Monastery - this saves you walking up and then back down the same route.

Great location right next to little Petra and 5 minutes from Petra. Suggest you take a car to the top (Rear) of Petra and enter near the monastery then walk down hill towards the entrance as it is a big day of walking. Hotel has lovely staff and very helpful. Every night was a large outdoor fire with tea service and music while the hills had lights on them for great photos. Suggest spending two nights in this hotel min maybe 3-4 nights to experience all the surround areas.
