The breakfast was amazing, by far one of the best breakfasts we have experienced, lots of choices, lots of local and homemade foods and drinks. It was one of the highlights of our stay! The room was very nice and cozy, extremely clean and we couldn't be happier! Location is also very convenient as the hotel is located not more than a 10 min (relaxed) walk from the center of the village.

We had a fantastic stay at Auberge de la Maison. Most of all we absolutely loved the staff, every one of them was extremely helpful and friendly. The reception staff went out their way to help us and it never felt like it was a burden to them. The bar staff are excellent! And make a wonderful gin sour. The cleaning staff are fabulous, not a spot of dust anywhere and our room was cleaned to a high standard. The turnover service at night is a great wee bonus, first time we've experience this in a hotel. The transfer service is very good, never a long wait and the drivers are friendly and helpful too. Restaurant staff also great and we enjoyed the breakfast. They all really went above and beyond, definitely the best staff we have experienced in a hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a wonderful location. The attention to detail in every part of the hotel really stands out. We felt quite at home and didn't want to leave after our week here.

Very cosy old fashioned style hotel. We got bigger appartment than booked thanks to its availability, in the older building. All in wood, respecting historical features of the building. Cosy atmosphere, little garden behind the hotel to rest. Cute small wellness under the roof. Great service by the reception, very good breakfast and dinner with proffesional service at the restaurant of the partner hotel. We’ll be more than happy to come back one day.

Loved how interesting Aosta was - Roman Ruins and a lot of history plus great bar & restaurant choices & friendly locals. Very busy each evening when everyone takes an aperitivo & a stroll & easy to get to by coach from Turin. Easy access to other towns & ski resorts in the Aosta Valley too. Also very reasonably priced compared to England.

The weather was fantastic which really helps. There was enough snow and all the runs and lifts were open - again helpful. The town is big enough with good shops and enough restaurants. The resort is good value for money.

A very lovely town that has amenities of a larger town while didn't lose the charm of a small town. It has lots of shops along the pedestrian streets with decent cafe and restaurants. They also have limited free shuttle service to nearby areas, where we chose to stay for the night for easy access to the Monte Bianco Skyway (cable car) back to Chamonix.

It could have more restaurants and services, but it is good as well as it is. Remember to book restaurant and taxi in advance and You should be ok. No huge party or disco experience, but I came to ski - so it was ok.

Small, nice town with numerous restaurants. Several small markets, one big supermarket open 7 days a week (and not closing for lunch break). The town has an easy autostrada access and is close to Aosta, the largest city in the region. Overall, Saint Vincent gives “small town feel” with having all amenities easily accessible. Good starting point for a day or half day trips to Mont Blanc, Matterhorn (Cervino in Italian) and St. Bernard Pass.

Cosy Italian village with shops /ski rental / hotels and a few bars . Cheaper alternative to Cervinia or Zermatt. Ski lifts connect to the Cervinia ski area but it does take over an hour to get there on long slow lifts .

La Thuile is a beautiful, quiet and family-friendly village. I visited with my girlfriend, so I didn't go looking for too many Après-Skis. Everything is relatively close and there are some good restaurants. Some of the ski lifts could have been more up-to-date, but nothing negative.

No lift queues, well-groomed slopes, great restaurants, good value for money. Somewhat slow lifts and relatively narrow slopes, especially during peak hours when the slopes were crowded. If it has snowed, the off-piste skiing in Alagna must be superb.

Only stayed one night then continued to Cervinia. Great location to explore Aosta valley and great base for skiing trips. Not much to do in winter but plenty of hikes in summer, The place is surrounded by mountains!

Wonderful city, not chaotic even if it is full of shops, restaurants and cafes. The centre pf the city is mostly pedestrian area all the day. Beautiful Roman remains and obviously surrounded by mountains and trees. One of our best family holidays ever. We simply loved it.
