The property is beautiful and the staff are AMAZING! My friend and I arrived really underprepared, we didn’t have a car and it’s quite difficult to get around without one but the owner and his son bent over backwards to help us. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough you’ve just got to rent a car!

We had an amazing stay at the Glamping resort. This was the best value for money. The best part for us was the animation team & the pool. Animation team plans so many activities throughout the day, especially for kids. The pool area was amazing. Very clean and so many water activities. The best was the water slide. We were there only for 3 nights so could not explore all activities. But maybe next time. Its in the middle of jungle so only accessible by a car. Ample parking space was there. WiFi as expected was a little slow and accessible in main areas but that is expected given the location. Frontdesk was helpful and quick to answer. Our cabin was expectedly very small but had everything we needed in such a compact area. All required kitchen utensils plus coffee machine were available. This was our first time at glamping resort so we did not equip well with toiletries. Better to take everything with you including toilet tissues as they dont provide them second time.

This was literally the prettiest place that we’ve ever stayed in Italy and probably whole Europe! The views from the hill are incredible, the style of the house is vintage and very cute. There are all the commodities - hot water, kitchen utensils, microwave, fridge - all the necessary stuff to spend there at least few weeks. Luciano is the best host that we’ve met - he recommended us some restaurants, places to visit and the easy way to get to Florence. I didn’t notice any disadvantages in this place - it was just perfect! Thank you

The apartment and all the facilities were amazing. We did not expect that. Kitchen was very well equipped, swimming pool clean and big, there was even area for barbecue! We definitely recommend the place. PS The Guy working there was the nicest person ever. He made our stay 11 out of 10 😉

Figline Valdarno is beautifully centrally located in Tuscany. You can take the train to Florence and Arezzo. Siena and even Lucca are easily accessible by car. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby. Sting has his pizzeria nearby. You will need a car.

Montevarchi is a small town with a handful of restaurants. The location and The train station is excellent for travelling to other towns. Florence is only 45 minutes by train and the station parking is free.

This is a books that prides the service they provide. EVERYTHING was 5-star quality! The drive to the property was Florence airport was great—mainly highways and easy roads leading to the property. During our stay, the villa hosted a wine tasting watch was top quality—elegantly done and very informative.

If someone was staying for several days it would be ideal...

If someone was staying for several days it would be ideal for exploring central Italy, we only stayed one night as we were travelling on. Very nice accommodation and people, the restaurant food was very good and cooked fresh.

Total lack of proper management, and overall maintenance of...

Total lack of proper management, and overall maintenance of the property and apartment!!! Daily 'management' was strictly the responsibility of two, overworked, rather young and inexperienced ladies, working in shifts (hosting approx. 35 rooms and double the number of guests at least). Due to this, reception was largely unmanned, and no possibility to contact the management, at reception or by phone. Swimming pool (which was the only true accessory available at the location) was out of order and not cleaned/filtered for almost two days due to 'necessary' repairs (which should be done in low season or off season, NOT in high season!). Our daughter cut her foot on broken and very sharp tiles, which had become loose from the edge... A technical failure of our air conditioning, took over 2(!) days to get addressed (not solved!), only after I laid down a complaint and this in temperatures reaching 36°C and night temperatures not lower than 25°C (we stayed 7 nights). Yet, they are able to monitor the working of the AC in each room from the front dest! Breakfast was a true laugh, and therefore way too expensive to be called 'breakfast': the two 'team' personnel was very demotivated and not friendly at all, which resulted in a constant lack of replenishment of the food, the choice of which was very limited and not worthy of the price to be paid for!

Bucine is central Tuscany so opens up the option of visiting Firenze, Arezzo, and Siena (all less than an hours drive). But it's not the Tuscan landscape you envisage. That's more around the Siena region. Bucine is more green hills but still nice.

Figline is an excellent small Italian town with classic piazza and narrow streets. It has excellent cafes and bars, with a range of cuisines and prices in the local restaurants. Everyone we met were friendly, and it was great to eat and drink in the piazza. Train station gives access to Florence, Arezzo and many other towns, and further afield to Pisa and Rome.

This is a real gem at 30 minutes from Florence, 38 minutes from Chianti region. We stayed 4 days and everything was amazing, we would have liked to stay longer. The service was outstanding, Manuela, Daniel, Matilde and Gulia (the chef) were always giving their best to make us feel home, attentive and caring. Food was delicious, we were looking forward to being back for having dinner. Breakfast and dinner with gluten free options as we requested. We would have liked to spend time enjoying the pool, terraces and surroundings full of nature. Rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy

I am obsessed with this place!

I am obsessed with this place! Excellent food, great service, beautiful grounds. Just an amazing escape from busy city. Access to Florence for museum day trips for about $100 per day round trip. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone who wants to feel well taken care of in a beautiful environment with great food and awesome views. Loved loved loved!
