A wonderfull surprise for our holiday. This is a hotel where things are done with passion and care. Positioned close to Moena right near the main road but still very quiet. Great free parking. The sound of the river is a gem. Nice spectacular view over the valley. The staff is very friendly. Restaurant and breakfast are delicious, especially sweets. The rooms are big and confortable. Good wifi. The garden is a wonderfull place to rest also to have a late drink. It was a really big and wonderfull surprise and I want to thank to the hosts for what they are doing. We wish to come back for a longer period.

I absolutely loved this hotel. Everything was just right. The room was spacious, with a gorgeous mountain view—exactly what you hope for when staying in the Dolomites. The whole place smells amazing, like a relaxing spa everywhere you go. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was big, and proper toiletries were provided, not just those random wall dispensers. Breakfast was honestly a dream. A very thoughtful selection of everything—cold cuts, pies, eggs, and an insane variety of pastries and cakes. There’s also a really nice man who greets you and makes your coffee in the morning—such a lovely touch. They also give you 10% off QC Terme, which is a great bonus. If I’m ever back in that area—I’m 100% staying here again. parking is spacious, never was an issue to park car

We got a really good service The hotel offers quality service around the clock For kids a good club with fun activities. Slides. Climbing wall. Pool ( nicely warm ) For the adults they offer a great spa with all the amenties for free. The food is delicious a great vriety and very good quality. 3 course dinner. We loved the baffe with all variants of salads and cheese. Breakfast is excellent to. We were plesently surprised from the tiled floor. We were annoyed from carpeted flour as mentioned at booking. Probably the rooms had been renovated recently. We had a quiet sleep with a wonderful views. Very good quality of toiletiers. Everyday there was a quite variant skiers buffe. With complimentary tea and soft drinks. It is the perfect hotel for a family on a ski vacation.

The location was 10 steps from the lift, free parking, the spa areas are small but enough to fully relax and regain strength, the ski wardrobe is excellent. The room was spacious, cozy alpine-like decoration, felt very authentic. Excelent view of the Alps from the balcony, very clean and friendly staff. The food is totally different topic - breakfast, lunch and dinner were a huge masterpiece. Every day we were greeted with a different and exciting menu with multiple options, felt like a real masterchef was trying to win a Michelin star everyday. Unique experience. Also the bar cocktails were spot on.

The accommodation is in a great location for summer and winter holidays in the Dolomites. We only spent 1 night here during our Italian roadtrip but we would definitely love to return. We had everything we needed in the small apartment. The kitchen is sufficient. The great thing was that my sister had her own separate small room with a bed. Everything was clean and thank you for the ability to park in the garage. The ladies at the front desk were very nice. This is the kind of staff you want to meet on your vacation.

There are three lifts close to the village and buses which are free to guest card holders which go to at least 8 more. There are suggestions of hikes from the top of all these lifts. The website fassa.com is full of information.

Canazei is located at the southern part of the Sella Ronda...

Canazei is located at the southern part of the Sella Ronda domain and you need to take a couple of lifts up to the slopes. There are also buses to get to different parts of the domains, and though they run regularly their frequency changes. Apres-ski life is more on the quiet side in Canazei and while there are a lot of restaurants in the village, we didn't find anything the marked us. There's a great (but pricey) swimming pool and wellness center and shops are OK for such a village.

The walk from the San Pellegrino pass to rifugio fuciada is fantastic as it is pretty flat, not too far (8 km round trip approx) and can be done with snow boots even in Dec/Jan. The scenery of the mountains and warm atmosphere, drinks and food of the rifugio make it an fabulous winter walk. Busses are available from Moena to the pass.

Brilliant base for summer hiking.

Brilliant base for summer hiking. We did a three day hike, taking a taxi from Vigo to Fie/Vols, on the other side of the mountains (cost €130 for 4). Staying in a hotel in Vigo allows you to come and go between stays in mountain refuges. Next time we come, we will try to do a Via Ferrata from a refuge to get on top of one of the high peaks.

Either you pay for parking by the slopes/cabin lifts, or you pay for skibus 😔. In any way, you pay. If you are her for skiing, be at lifts at 7:45 or after 10:00. Time between, you will wait 1 hour minimum... we have tried 3 places, still the same. Weather was nice, you just pay extra money for sun.

The ski bus service in Val di Fassa is really poor. The timetables are completely confusing and the frequency of connections (especially towards Campitello and Cannaze) is insufficient - often less thand once per hour!

enchanting place, from this position it is possible to reach many other beautiful locations and services for the various winter skiing activities in a short time. Our stay at the GH hotel Piaz was very pleasant and relaxing. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Great base for sk-ing.

Great base for sk-ing. A variety of shops with quality souvenirs & lots of restaurants & bars which would appeal to all ages & pockets. A traditional town with beautifully painted buildings with stunning mountain views- particularly striking in the snow !

Moena is fantastic place in the beautiful Dolomites - it is...

Moena is fantastic place in the beautiful Dolomites - it is not on the doorstep of the skiing resorts, but a short transfer (15min) will take you to the most common ones - San Pellegrino area being our favourite. While not being on the doorstep of skiing, it has the advantage that you can try out different areas, all with different characteristics.
