We spent 5 days in Albergo Posta Marcucci. It was fantastic time especially because of very kind and helpful staff. Starting from check-in until check-out we fill like in between good friends. The rooms are comfortable, and everything was as it should be. The pools are really very warm, and we feel relaxing in the bath and at the couches. The restaurant has excellent food as well at the breakfast and the dinner. I strongly recommend this Hotel not only to spend a time at the pool but also to make a short trips across Tuscany countryside, visiting nice towns nearby. Many thanks to the Hotel Manager for his help in time organisation.

If you're seeking a haven of beauty and romance, look no further than the Capanna Suite. Nestled amidst nature's embrace, this exquisite establishment offers an idyllic setting for a private and rejuvenating two-day escape. If you and your partner are yearning for days of relaxation and serenity, the Capanna Suite is the perfect destination. My stay at this hotel left an indelible mark, and I am eager to return. The staff members exude excellence, consistently going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Their unwavering attentiveness and helpfulness truly enhance the overall stay. The centerpiece of the Capanna Suite experience is its restaurant, a place of culinary perfection. The impeccable service adds an extra layer of delight to each meal, enhancing the dining experience in ways that are difficult to describe. Every bite is a symphony of flavors, and the ambiance only amplifies the romance that permeates the air. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. The Capanna Suite is a gem that promises tranquility, romance, and an escape from the ordinary. Whether you're seeking to celebrate a special occasion or simply yearning for a couple's retreat, this is the destination that will exceed your expectations.

Beautiful property with very warm thoughtful touches. You receive little gifts each day in your room that are unique to the hotel and it is little things like this which make a cosy and lovely stay. Staff is amazing, especially Gabriella at reception who’s exceptionally helpful and considerate. Food is great and while I’m not usually one to stay in hotels for meals, we actually had dinner at Lupaia almost every night during our stay as they have a different menu by the day (pancakes at breakfast are also a must try!), and each and every one was very very good. I also took with me my wedding dinner gown (my wedding was a few days before my stay here) which had to be cleaned, and the staff was kind enough to offer to do some delicate washing for me (I forgot the girl’s name but she was an absolute star and delight!) and my gown came back in perfect condition as she was so careful with it. All in all, it was an amazing hotel with beautiful structure and surroundings, super warm staff and personal touches. Would not hesitate to book again when I revisit Tuscany!

Picturesque location! Everything at the property including amenities were superb! The staff were welcoming and very friendly. The room was a good size, with decent working air conditioning (for Italy) with a lovely view from our balcony. The pool area was just gorgeous and felt very private anywhere you choose to sit - with great views of the surroundings. The spa was very relaxing, and you will need to purchase a cap from reception to wear while using. The property is a very short (10mins max) and enjoyable walk to the gorgeous town of San Quirico d’Orcia. We stayed here for one night before a wedding in Montalcino, and only wished we could have stayed longer! It’s a convenient location to visit other towns in the area, plenty of parking on site. The breakfast had a large selection!

A beautiful historic town and one of our favourite stays on our 10-day Italy roadtrip. We traveled as a couple (in our 35-40's), and highly recommend staying at La Romantica Lolo, having a private wine tasting at Ercolani, dining at Ristorante La Grotta, and truffle hunting at Podere il Casale (15-min drive).

THE GOOD : The location is great, close to the Val D'orcia. The amenities of this property are good, rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious enough. The bathroom etc was great. Breakfast was also pretty good, though they could improve their bread selections. THE NOT GOOD : Staff is difficult to get hold of and are not very helpful/friendly. This is compounded by the fact that (if you speak English), they are not very conversant in English. THE BAD : We had specifically requested rooms to be close by but instead we were given rooms that were a 5 mins walk through hallways, elevators and literally on opposite ends of the property.

Bagno Vignoni is a vital part of Italian history as well as the whole surrounding area near and farther away. Charming medieval towns famous for world renown wines like Montalcino, San Quirico d´Orcia, Pienza, Montepulciano or Monticchiello are within a short driving distance. There are few nice walking options to Rocca & Casteglione d´Orcia town located up on the opposite hill southward too.

Monticchiello is a great hill top village to stay overnight when travelling through Tuscany. Beautifully quiet in the evening but with a number of restaurants to choose from to suit all tastes. Montepulciano is THE Tuscan hill-town to stay in.

Montepulciano is THE Tuscan hill-town to stay in. It is a bit bigger than its neighbors and is a fun place to wander around in. There's a lovely cafe, Lalma, just up the street from Casa degli Orti. There's great art in the town along with wonderful views, and of course, don't forget the wine! Lots of opportunities to taste what Tuscany has to offer. We had a car so we were able to drive to the other hill-towns. Pienza is cute; get some cheese! Montalcino was delightful. The whole area is simply jawdroppingly beautiful!
