My stay was almost idyllic. From the moment I was greeted by Sophia at the front desk, the place exceeded my expectations. I had an extra spacious room with a balcony. The included breakfast was outstanding, so many choices from cold and hot options, juices, and coffee. The server Gabri did her best to make me feel welcome at breakfast and dinner, especially appreciated since I don't speak Italian.

Good afternoon! We stayed at this hotel from June 27 to July 3. Everything was perfect — the staff was very friendly, the room was nice, everything was clean, and close by there was a wonderful lake and a funicular ещ 2.310 meters. We chose the half-board option with breakfast and dinner, and we never regretted it: every morning there was a good breakfast, and every evening the dinner menu was different. I also had a special dietary request — no gluten and no milk — and the staff did their best every day to prepare something suitable for me. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you to all the staff for making our vacation so comfortable!

Family suit was really big, clean and comfortable with terrace and a good view. There were a big bed for adults and two separate beds for kids. The food in the hotel was exceptional, the breakfast was ok but the dinner a la cart was delicious, elegant and saturating. Lots of activities to do in the hotel and nearby, perfect pool for kids and adults, several saunas for adults only, tennis courts nearby, e-bikes, and of course tracking. The stuff was helpful, all our requests were satisfied. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and could recommend it for sure!

Loved our stay here. The staff were superb- kind and helpful. Rooms were tidy and met our needs although a bit tight for a family of 4. Facilities were great, nice bar, loved the outdoor sauna and spa facilities, restaurant was great. Sitting on the balcony and appreciating the view was so much fun. Would love to come back.

Everything was perfect and the location is beautiful. Room was huge, modern, with an amazing balcony with an awesome view. The 3/4 pension was spotless as well. The staff is very friendly, kind and the level of hospitality is great. You will be by the Dolomiti and the ski slopes are in front of the hotel. Totally recommended!

Nova Ponente is a few minutes drive from the village where...

Nova Ponente is a few minutes drive from the village where the apartment is at, but it offers a lot more eating and shopping options; it also happens to be quite active because it is on the road to many ski locations. It is good to have it be nearby but I preferred the restive peaceful village where the apartment is at.

While most people head for Val Gardena, this portion of the Dolomities has its own gem: a hike at 2500 meter across the peaks of the Rosengarten Spitze, the iconic Caressa Lake, as well as a hike from the twin peaks of Corno Bianco /Nero to the monastery of Madonna di Pietralba (Maria Weissenstein), to name a few gems.

I liked and disliked the same thing about the resort-the fact that it was pretty empty which meant no queues for the chair lifts. However, the fact that it was so empty meant no apres ski at all, which in the evening felt a bit liveless and sad.

In winter this is the best location to start the skiing / snowboarding Latemar experience. The number of lifts, slopes provides for a perfect skiing experience and you can ski all the way to Predazzo and back in a day without having to repeat any of the lifts or slopes unless you like any of them so much that you want to. I keep coming back to Obereggen every winter, it is simply wonderful.

The setting there is just perfect.

The setting there is just perfect. You’re in a valley and have access to several different hiking paths or mountain biking paths. The towns are your typical south to roll little towns. They was just beautiful, surrounded by the dolomites.

If the big touristic centres are not for you, but you still...

If the big touristic centres are not for you, but you still striving for a good quality of winter sports - Nova Levante/Carezza is an ideal place for you. Plus of location - not to far from Bolzano, which might be handy (e.g. there they have a hospital). Another nice locations for downhill skiing nearby - Obereggen. Or if you like it "intensive and grand" - Sellaronda.

Small ski resort with but with big ski network. Not so many people but still you find fun places for apres-ski and one disco (easy atmosphere). NO waiting at the cablecar or chairlifts in high season. Good ski.

Obereggen is a great place to visit in the summer, if you like to hike in a pristine and spectacular mountain landscape. However, it is relatively far from the main urbanized area and as a consequence does not appear to offer much in terms of in site social and cultural activities. It is mostly populated by hotels and second houses and it harbors essentially no village or local population, beyond those employed by the tourism industry or sparse local agriculture. The hotels generally offer half pension packages even though it is possible to have excellent meals in local restaurants, themselves mostly part of hotels.
