United KingdomI could happily live here! The best place we stayed in Sicily and wish we'd stayed longer. The owners (and their dog) are welcoming and generous, the private outdoor space with the beach with its views of Strombolicchio is stunning, and the house has everything you could want or ask for. It's a short walk to the harbour but still quiet and tranquil. We loved it, and have already recommended it to friends and family.

I stayed there for the period 03-08.08 Petra Residence is a great place to relax with clean, spacious and very beautiful apartments, the terrace for observing the volcano and at the same time an incredible view of the sea and breathtaking sunrises is not to be missed! It is located a two-minute walk from the beach, two minutes from the breakfast place if you have ordered one, and there they make the best granita on the island! The hostess Pedra is a great and warm-hearted person who is always ready to answer and help with all your questions and wishes, I would definitely visit this place again ❤️❤️❤️❤️ When I left and thanked for the hospitality in the eyes and saw so much kindness ☀️☀️☀️

The place is not too far from the port, close to the beaches and La Libreria (for good wines in the evening).
The garden was amazing and the hosts are super kind. We could check in earlier and when leaving, the hosts allowed us to leave the baggage while we had a last bath and once back from the beach, we could have a shower outside. The rooms are nice, clean and big enough.
La Rosamarina is a great place to stay when you are on Stromboli. We would definitely come back!

Location, service, the views, the decor, so comfortable! They had a €5 transfer service for the port which was really good in the heat, they were always super helpful with advice on where to eat, or what to do. Rooms were so sweet, we loved having our little terrace and we had a view on the sea from there, and a view of Stromboli volcano on the other! Not a far walk from the beaches and restaurants either. Loved it, would come back in a heartbeat.

Really very nice garden, very calm, relaxing place. We liked rather old fashioned style of the room. The view on Stromboli was great! We took the small taxi from the port because we had big luggage and the way to the BB is quite up the hill.

it had a nice pool. it was close to the beach, the staff were friendly and helped us get food after our hike to stromboli since the restaurants were closed. they ordered us a pizza.

Stromboli is one of a kind to check out an active volcano.
Stromboli is one of a kind to check out an active volcano. It also has surprisingly nice beaches. The island is lacking some tourist infrastructure. There is no place to rent snorkel equipment, for example. Food is a little pricier than mainland but nothing too outrageous.

We walked up the mountain without a guide to around 300...
We walked up the mountain without a guide to around 300 Metres. A tough climb but coming back in the dark is also difficult t pays to have headlamps... we used our cell phone torches which was a bit limiting.
The experience and views were breathing taking especially at sunset..
