The location of this hotel is superb, it is a 1 minute walk from restaurants, bars, bowling alley and the shuttle bus for the village. The hotel shuttle bus is so convenient and a fantastic service in the morning. The breakfast is also superb and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. The ski slopes in the area are magical, we couldn’t recommend this area and hotel more.

1-They treated us as real guests ! They never ask for credit cards to block our money, or pay deposit, although , we had our dinner in the 3 stars Mechlin restaurant and the cost was over 600 €, no one asks us to sign anything, all was charged to the room, professional staff, they spot what you like and what you don’t, like our drinks on the breakfast for the next day, they pay attention for the details. 2- They granted us gifts, desserts, cakes, with a nice message left on the table informing us that there is a gift for us in the mini bar. 3- so friendly staff, we love everything from the moment we checked in, to the moment we check out, also a gift from the garden upon our check out. Amazing hotel, last but not least the location was wonderful, our room was Mountain View, Definitely would come back again

Historic landmark with modern facilities and tasteful sympathetic furnishings. in a super quiet cul de sac absolute waterfront. Fabulous spa on top floor with skylights of mountains and views of lake. Magic massage. Friendly helpful staff kindly helped us with our stumbling French. Brilliant base to bike ride around Annecy lake and relax in spa after a cold dip in the lake.

Large nicely decorated room. There is a very decent tv set to watch a film when the weather outside was too cold to be out on the terrace! As the restaurant was closed on the Sunday night, they provided a "planche", a cheese and cold meat assortment which did the trick after a long journey.

There is a lot more to see and experience in Lyon but since...

There is a lot more to see and experience in Lyon but since it was cold, and I had only a few hours before night time on day of arrival; and a few hours before day of departure - I only managed to cover "Old Lyon" and a walk around Gare Perrache/Place Carnot. People are willing to speak English with you, even if they are not conversant, so that helps with a non-French speaking visitor like me. I took the bus, but from what I see, Lyon is well-connected with tramways, metros and buses.

Lovely little lakeside and mountainside town with beautiful historic charm and plenty of delicious spots to eat and drink local goods. We were concerned after many people told us about all the lovely flowers we’d be missing going in November. But fall really put on a show with the colors and surrounding views. The biggest issue was that many places were closed or had very limited hours. But we understand and did the best we could. It meant the crowds weren’t there, so we were able to meander and enjoy stopping in to eat at great spots without reservations.

Amazing.y awesome!

Amazing.y awesome! The city, restaurants and speciality shops were wonderful and within walking distance of our apartment just off the pedestrian zone. Food was delicious with lots of different offerings…Japanese, Turkish, local specialities like fondues and meats. Sho owners were friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed Grenoble.

We really enjoyed Grenoble. It is a nice friendly city with good transport. We visited the art gallery and the cable car. The scenery is stunning. We were only there two days but with more time would have ventured out of the city into the countryside. We would recommend the Belle Idée restaurant. After Grenoble we went to Aix. The first part of our journey was on a beautiful little train from Grenoble towards Gap. This went through the Alps and this journey was amazing. Well worth doing.

I made 3 separate booking .You have to buy your own Toilet paper .room cleaning is extra charge .If I booked 3 times in separate occasions they must be doing the bed and give the cleaned room to me no matter its same room . I paid full price .There was a bug at the window and Room220 is right at the road where Tram runs 24 hours almost .Christina is very rude so be firm with her .The rest of girls are really nice and speaks some English.Christina does not know English at all .She should not be working at a hotel where mostly Foreigners stays .

Beautiful, and very easy to move around via transports. There are tons of things to do like visiting the park and most of them are free or rather cheap. It is overall a great city without that turist pressure everywhere!

Interesting town with cultural heritage.

Interesting town with cultural heritage. I was just passing through en route from Italy to London but it is a perfect stopover for one night. Unfortunately I was there on a Monday, when some attractions eg the castle are closed but I did visit the cathedral. There are many restaurants which sell local produce.

I was there on a Monday, and then Absolutely Nothing is happening. The (only) museum is closed on both Monday and Tuesday. All bookshops (apart from FNAC) were closed as well. Maybe other weekdays are better, but do not go there on Monday.

Last week of April means sunshine is plentiful and sunscreen a must even on cloudy days because the sun can come out in a few moments. Great ski area even late in the season, no lift lines, and good facilities in the town. This could be the best intermediate skiier resort in France.
