The location is very near to the city old center, the hotel services are great (we asked for a room with twin beds and they were very responsive). I read some reviews that it's kind of noisy as they have a bar with DJ in the evenings, but for us was ok, we heard nothing (we stayed only 1 night during week -maybe during weekends it is noisy)

FAQs about hotels in Apulia

Rich Legacy and Natural Beauty

One of the richest archaeological regions in Italy, Puglia has received the influx from Greeks, Romans, Goths, Lombards, Byzantines, Normans and Spanish, amongst others. Together with an unusual and amazing landscape, Puglia is an Italian must!

With lower mountains than the rest of the country, it mixes fertile tablelands with dry landscape, rocky plateaus, and green hills. Kissed by the Adriatic and Ionian seas, its crystalline waters, rocky inlets and small sandy coves, well deserves a stay in some of the Puglia hotels on the beach.

Don’t miss the beautiful promontory of Gargano, nor Lecce’s stunning Baroque historic centre. Alberobello’s ‘trulli’ stone houses are a picturesque must. Being Apulia’s capital, Bari offers a number of cultural offer highlights as well as a lively nightlife, also famous in the summer resort of Gallipoli.

Its food is probably one of the best kept Italian secrets. The spaghetti with sea urchins is a typical delicious dish, while the ‘burrata’ cheese melts in your mouth with its creamy centre. You should also try the black olives, the ‘orecchiette’ pasta, and the amazing wines!

I can only speak in superlatives—an outstanding paradise! I have never experienced such a clean, fresh hotel in my life, and we travel 3–4 times a year. The staff and service were exceptional—so attentive and intuitive, they truly have hospitality in their fingertips. We were traveling with our child, who has Down syndrome, ADHD, and autism. Our meals were served in a quiet corner, and the care we received was so unique and heartfelt it brought tears to my eyes. We can never be away from home for more than 72 hours, as routines are essential for our child. Even though we never really have a “vacation” in the traditional sense, because our child requires constant attention, this time we genuinely felt the vacation spirit. At first, I was worried there was no buffet and that meals were à la carte—but it turned out to be amazing. Our child, who is very selective with food, received meals perfectly suited to his taste. The food was divine! Beautifully presented, it felt like true fine dining. We had full board, which I absolutely recommend. Golf carts took guests to and from the beach—even though it wasn’t far, this was a tremendous help for us, and we made full use of it. The beach was super clean and fresh. All textiles were of luxurious quality and smelled divine—but subtly so. Perfect in every way. There was a small shop in the area and an ice cream bar as well. We flew into Bari and had a rental car. A huge thank you to everyone who welcomed us—from receptionists, waitstaff, lifeguards, housekeeping, and chefs to the amazing guys assisting guests at the front desk—thank you all so much! You were incredible!

Me and my boyfriend stayed for a long weekend in May at this beautiful, truly private, magical place and we had the best time. The people, especially the host, Adriano, were extremely kind, warm and welcoming, it was hard to leave. The property is stunning, a dreamy place with history, the rooms we saw (we had to switch at some point) were very classy and beautiful. The perfect place to charge batteries, also, incredible food. I am absolutely thrilled and will hopefully be able to come back some time!

The entire property is absolutely enormous and the villa we stayed at was very spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The place is definitely unique as I believe it used to be a small village, hence why the property has a sort of town square where different events can take place. The food and service was phenomenal, well worth the hefty price tag.

🌟 Bari – A Wonderful Christmas Destination! 🌟

🌟 Bari – A Wonderful Christmas Destination! 🌟 Our visit to Bari was absolutely delightful! The city truly comes alive during the holiday season—the Christmas market is magical, full of festive lights, local crafts, and a warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The people of Bari are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and share a smile. It’s easy to fall in love with the charm of the old town and the stunning seaside views. Food lovers will be in heaven here! The seafood is fresh and delicious, with plenty of traditional dishes to try. However, one thing we wouldn’t recommend is the octopus burgers—they were a bit too adventurous for our taste. Overall, Bari is a fantastic destination for culture, food, and holiday spirit. We can’t wait to return!

Alberobello is a beautiful magical place However most eateries are tourist traps. And people are not as friendly as in other parts of Italy. In nearby Locorotondo we had a completely different experience. People were more authentic. That said Alberobello was beautiful and my son enjoyed a lot.

Fantastic Archaeological museum with fabulous ceramics, some of the best from earliest civilisations, well displayed with good lighting and English translations for general info and for each item. Worth going to Taranto just for that. Castle and very small island old city with very narrow laneways and good restaurants and the cathedral which is beautiful. Local buses work well and many from train station which is good as taxis not there at all.

For those, who enjoy Italian history and architecture, Foggia is a place to avoid. Its historical centre is in the poorest condition compared to 20 other cities in Puglia we visited during this trip: lots of decrepit buildings with walls covered in graffiti and dirty streets. As a "basecamp" for driving around and visiting other cities in northern Puglia it served us well

Ostuni is well worth a visit. Easy to get and parking are ample. Views and surroundings v good. Food was absolutely delicious , ate at Mosca Bianca and highly recommend. Aside from the usual historic places e.g. cathedrals, city government buildings we saw studios/gallery which offered interesting paintings/scuptures by local artists.

I loved the stay here.

I loved the stay here. It was accessible on foot, the weather was great, (September.). The locals were friendly. The environment was beautiful and greenery edged around the lovely architecture. Its a hidden gem with a heartbeat of Catholicism within its foundations due to the site offered to Pilgrims in honour of the faith and Padre Pio. Do visit if you can!
