I had requested a late check-in due to our long journey, and kindly enough, the owner or the person at the reception specially waited for us. This thoughtful gesture made a significant difference in our travel plans, and I truly appreciated their flexibility. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel had upgraded us to a larger room than the one we had initially booked. The room was spacious and also clean. Another highlight was the view from our room, directly looking onto the pretty Dolomites (see room view picture). It was a sight that added an extra layer of beauty to our stay. Each morning, we enjoyed a nice breakfast that is worth the money. On one occasion, we almost overslept and arrived at the breakfast area just 10 minutes before closing time. Without knowing or asking, the staff graciously allowed us to finish our breakfast. This small act of kindness helped us starting the day well so we could continue our travel plan. We used the hotel for going to Venice and the Dolomites by car. The Wifi was good. If I am in the area again I would definitely return to this hotel!

Room with three beds had ample space and room with two beds was comfortable, too. Rooms, house and grounds are beautifully and tastefully decorated. We asked for a water heater and cups and we immediately received them. Service is very responsive and friendly. Air condition in the room worked very well. Cappuccinos at breakfast were excellent. This feels much more than a two star hotel.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing we asked of them was too difficult. Free parking is available 30 metres away. It is in the heart of Town so it's to wander the streets and find a place to eat and drink. Breakfast was good.

Clean apartment. Comfortable beds, shower facilities up to toothbrushes. Quiet beautiful place. We arrived at around 12 am, after giving a prior notice, and were accommodated without any problems. Thank you very much! There is also a bar on site where you can have a coffee, a sandwich or a croissant. A great place to stay overnight.

A beautiful, old but maintained villa with a beautiful garden with waterfalls and facilities, once a monastery, exudes the beauty of the past. It is organized for larger solemn celebrations and weddings, but it retains the necessary intimacy if you are traveling alone or as a couple. The room is spacious, airy and bright, the bathroom is maintained and has a view of the garden. I was particularly impressed by the antique parquet floors, which are very difficult to find in such good condition today. Breakfast is typical Italian, sweet, but with enough variety and salty food. The staff is extremely pleasant and professional, there is a feeling that they are like a big family. The garden pool is spacious and well equipped. Recommendation for a restaurant within the hotel, reserve a table in time. The food is extremely well prepared and tasty.

Great spacious apartment with lovely view on the Pradis di Sotto valley. The reception staff was professional, kind and took me from the reception directly to the property. To be added, since I had forgotten a pair of earrings at the property after check out, Reception staff retrieved them and offered to ship them to my address. Service above and beyond!

I was there for the film festival, which I really enjoyed. Pordenone is pleasant town with a compact centre. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars, though probably not enough sightseeing for more than a day.

Aviano is conveniently located near the ski resort of...

Aviano is conveniently located near the ski resort of Piancavallo. The town itself is small, but has a large number of restaurants. It is quite pleasant to sit at a cafe' in the main square with a view of the bell tower. In summer there are good hiking trails in the vicinity. I love the mountain views!

A pleasant little town to visit.

A pleasant little town to visit. The venetian town centre, with the bell-tower, river and ducks is very nice. There are several places to eat at, and on Thursdays there is an open-air market in the centre, with local and regional produce on offer. There's also a good cheese shop in town.

Maniago is a lovely little town located at the heals of the nearby mountains. There isn't too much to see, but you get the feeling of a small Italian town. You can go for hiking, or biking on the nearby pathways. Some excellent ice-cream can also be had. There are nice restaurants and cafes. Maniago is depending heavily on its industry, but all of it is located outside the town, you do not see any of it in the town itself.

Polcinego is a quaint town between Venice and the Dolomites.

Polcinego is a quaint town between Venice and the Dolomites. We loved the feel of the town. There are two coffee shops and a few other restaurants. We have a son stationed at Aviano AFB and this location allowed us to see him and take day trips N and S. I LOVED the snow-capped Dolomites, and we enjoyed many hikes both in Polcinego and nearby.

If you want to hit multiple locations in Northern Italy and...

If you want to hit multiple locations in Northern Italy and be near a populous that speaks English I think it will be hard to beat Pordenone. The city itself may not be a destination city but it's location to the Alps, Venice, Verona, Aviano AFB and other areas may prove beneficial.

A perfect place to stay away from the city.

A perfect place to stay away from the city. We had a change of plans and timing, so the host left instruction on how to get into our room, which was very helpful. Loved the views from the balcony. I can imagine how beautiful it is here during warmer months.

The town is a wonderful, typical Italian town.

The town is a wonderful, typical Italian town. Off-season there's no crowds. Historical archtecture and climate. For me perfect location close to the mountains in the North and the fantastic jewels of European Culture in the South (Venice) - all within 1-2 hrs drive reach. There's a good number of restaurants, hotels, pizzerias, cafes in the town. Cozy. Friendly. Not too crowded (end of Sept).

Polcenigo, nice small town in eastern Friuli. Close to the Veneto region. Casa di Elsa: nice and renewed facility, clean, neat, with garden. Excellent breakfast. However, nicer locations are available in close proximity. Honest value for money.

Was raised in Pordenone 60 years ago, and went back to relive my first 8 years of my life in this beautiful city. Full of cultural heritage, Historical Ruins and Buildings. Small streets with old pebble stones and narrow streets, close your eyes and think of walking down a pebble stone street over a 100 years ago. Just the sound of hoarses pulling a carriage through the small pebble stone streets.
