We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The view from the balcony was beautiful, creating a sense of peace and relaxation throughout our stay. Check-in was quick and smooth, and we received helpful explanations about the area right from the start. During our visit, the staff kindly sent us excellent recommendations for local markets, restaurants, and activities, which really enriched our experience. Breakfast was very good. Our kids had a great time in the playroom. We would definitely love to come back!

I usually prefer to stay at Airbnb than hotel, but this place changed my mind on what a good hotel can be. First of all hotel is run by women from one family so you get a feeling that you are very welcomed there, and whatever you ask they will try their best to do it. For example, owner went out of her way when one of the nights we could not get a taxi so she came for us instead of taxi and drove us back even though it was really late. And on the Friday night. Even took our friends to their place which was not on the way. It was very nice of them to do, must not have been easy. Second example, when we checked very late in the evening they gave us a quick dinner even though all of the places were closed. We expected a sandwich but got 3 meal course with wine, lovely surprise. The food was great too, during our stay saw plenty of people that were not staying in the hotel come for just the food and cozy atmosphere. You can fully have a nice evening after skiing and use a sauna, have a dinner maybe some drinks after and just relax. Many of guests do. Also the place is impeccably clean, not a single cobweb in sight. Rooms are spacious and there is a small river running by with the view of mountains from the window. Had great mornings and rest in there. It's on a quieter part of skiing town but I did not miss it, we had the best time. Hopefully we can come back soon. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Really nice facilities- pool, bar, amazing view. Breakfast was great and dinner even better. The staff were super friendly, helpful and personable. We travelled with our infant and they had a high chair for meals and cot for her to sleep in, which made life easy.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The cleanliness was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff, and the food at the restaurant was simply fantastic. The chef deserves special praise—every dish was delicious and carefully prepared. The owner was very kind and made sure we were always satisfied. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with quality mattresses. The hotel's location offers a beautiful view of the surrounding nature, which you can also enjoy from the sauna in the wellness area. beautiful hotel in a lovely location. the staff look after the guests really well, they all very friendly and obliging. the food was always excellent - and often quite creative - clearly using a lot of local products. We went here for walking - and this was a perfect place to start walks - or a short drive away. Gorgeous walks all around. Also well placed to go to visit local castles and such like on rainy days.

It was modern facility with nice fit out , spacious rooms with smart layout and beautiful view on the mountains. Downstairs is nice restaurant with Italian cuisine. Personal was super friendly and helpful especially considering we were traveling with small kid. Also if you seek for property with good accessibility by car and real ski to door experience put this to your short list

A beautiful hotel with excellent hospitality. When we lost our luggage a couple of days before our wedding the team were very helpful and accomodating. For our elopement they provided the most beautiful picnic with everything we needed. The spa and pool area is incredibly relaxing but the highlight was the food. 10/10.

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination.

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination. Many slopes of varying difficulty. Something for everyone. All are very well groomed every single night. Lifts are refreshed / replaced by newer at extreme rates. Parking at the bottom station of the gondola is the best that you will ever experience and the price is quite affordable.

This was a great location with easy drives to Lago Braies (30 min) and Tre Cime (one hour). The town itself was small, but filled with restaurants and shops. The views were beautiful. And while we played golf at Alta Badia (one hour drive and best views), there is a golf course right around the corner from this hotel that looks pretty great as well. The area was a great home base to go to many different popular sites.

We quite liked the village - it felt nicer than most other villages in the surrounding area. This is because it is a bit bigger than most and has more traditional town layout (instead of being village lined out next to the main street). Architecture is mostly traditional, which gives it the right alpine village vibe. There is a good choice for places to eat and a decent SPAR store. Ski lift is nearby. It seems that every other house is a hotel or a guest house, so finding the right accommodation should be fairly easy.

lovely area with stunning mountains but be aware that you need to pre-book parking for a lot of actives! and be prepared that there will be lots of other tourists around; it sometimes gets tedious to squeeze through them.

Probably the best place to ski where we have been so far. Large area, not too crowdy, slopes exactly to our taste (means blue and red :-) ). Well organised. Not sure where to park if you come late to the lift, but it was not our case.

A very neat, clean and perfectly organized city with Austrian organization and Italian flair. The feeling of security is very high, there are no beggars, no suspicious men. The stores sell excellent goods, there are no cheap stores like New Yorker, generally there are no international brands, but that's why you find very high quality goods at reasonable prices. The food is gastronomic, and the prices are acceptable. The architecture is first class.

Beautiful South Tyrol resort offering everything you need...

Beautiful South Tyrol resort offering everything you need for any mountain activities you can imagine or just pure relaxation. With mix of old buildings and modern ski infrastructure this place offers true alpine ambient. On top of surroundings I really enjoyed local cuisine that is simple but based on natural local ingredients exceptionally good in every restaurant we had a chance to visit. My favorites were "Chi Cianeis" for lunch and "Plazores" for dinner.

The museum at the Tourist Information is well worth a visit and you will learn about the Roman history of the town. You can also go on organised walks and tours which explores the local history. The roads are narrow and parking is limited but buses and trains are very good. The restaurant in the square is well worth a visit and is famous for its Pizzas.

Very small quiet village.

Very small quiet village. Picturesque and such friendly local people. Not many facilities in the village, one small supermarket, couple of hotels but only one with a restaurant for outside guests and they only served pizza. Cafe/Bar Val is a great place to sit and enjoy drinks at the end of the day or for coffee/breakfast. Super friendly staff who were lovely. Local language of ladin spoken or German. Don't go expecting people to speak English to you! We got by with German and a spattering of Italian but that is why we also loved it as prefer to be immersed in the culture. Piculin gondola just down the road which gave access to Kronplatz ski area. Takes about 45 mins to get over to main Platz . Badia Abtei lift about 15 mins further up which gave you access to La Villa via lifts and runs and La Villa and gondola about 25 mins further on. Ski bus seem to run frequently, although we drove so didn't use it. Parking in La Villa was 4 euros for the day. We also drove to Brunneck and picked up main gondola to Kronplatz from there. More direct to access slopes but a good 30 min drive. Lots of supermarkets in Brunneck but parking a nightmare. Use MPrice at the bottom of Piculin gondola, has everything you need.
