Very lovely hotel in a beautiful place. The staff was amazing, always very helpful and smiling. Our room was cleaned daily but more than I have ever experienced. Breakfast was on a beautiful terrace with a seaview and I loved all the croissants they had. So marvellous !

We booked one night and ended up staying for 5. The triple room was bigger than expected, it offered a separate bedroom, and a view to the sea and nice rock formations. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and totally flexible when it came to special requests. The location was not bad either, walking distance to the seaside, one can also venture to walk all the way to the town center. Overall, we loved it!

Il Gabbiano was the first hotel on the island of La Maddalena, built in 1955. It offers beautiful views of the crystal clear sea and the islands of Caprera, Santo Stefano and Spargi.

My only regret about this stay is not staying there long enough. This little B&B is perfectly located just a few minutes away from the port of La Maddalena yet so far away from any noise or traffic - to the opposite, this is a little harbor of piece where you can listen to the birds while watching the coast in the distance or sleep in their cosy beds until the beach calls. The family running the B&B are the nicest people you’ll ever meet and their breakfasts are absolutely amazing! Lastly, this B&B sets the gold standard on cleanness. There is no cutting corners on this at B&B Isola Mia, none at all. I miss that place already and cannot wait to be back there soon.
