We booked one night and ended up staying for 5. The triple room was bigger than expected, it offered a separate bedroom, and a view to the sea and nice rock formations. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and totally flexible when it came to special requests. The location was not bad either, walking distance to the seaside, one can also venture to walk all the way to the town center. Overall, we loved it!

Il Gabbiano was the first hotel on the island of La Maddalena, built in 1955. It offers beautiful views of the crystal clear sea and the islands of Caprera, Santo Stefano and Spargi.

Everything was fine. In colder weather I would like to have a kettle and a cup for making tea but in sunny weather I was happy with a lemon from the tree in the garden.
