From the moment we walked into Umitla 36 we knew we were in for something special. From service at the door, to attentive check-in, to the table treats- this place was very high-quality. This was a splurge for us but lived up to all our expectations. We were given an upgrade to a larger room which was a plus for our family. Breakfast was over-the-top with a huge array of fruits, cheeses, pastries, and more. Service couldn't have been more positive. We were given great suggestions for local restaurants as well as ones in Trastevere. Calling a cab or a driver to the airport was a snap thanks to the care and kindness of the front desk. Can we stay longer, please?

Everything! Reviews were right , it’s gorgeous here and stuff is very attentive. They accommodate us even though kitchen was closed by time we get there on first day , they made sandwich outside the hours . Drinks were lovely too and generous portions. We used bar, restaurant and beach bar too and all was fantastic. Food is restaurant was delicious 🤤. Views awesome, I swam in sea and chill on beach 🏖️ one day and it was so relaxing. Room large enough and having outside was much appreciated since my friend is smoker. Also since we were checking out around 5am , I just asked for two sandwiches to be made so we can eat them in car on the way to airport. They go beyond and add waters, juices, fruits and cakes with it , thank you very much I would gladly back 😊.

Wow all in there! Lucky enough we had the good weather too and was able to explore what we had to set out to do like Saturnian terms, Porto Santo Stefano and the coast. The beach was nice and great that with all activities included like kayaking. The the facilities were great and stuff helpful especially and the lifeguards. The local supermarket was very handy with decent prices and products

Really nice camping in the shade of old trees. The bungalow was well equipped, clean. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary equipment. Small terrace had barrier, so kids/dogs can't run out. The mini market had fresh bread and basic groceries. The beach is nice, clean, part with dogs is just next to the non-dog area. Both has umbrellas and sun beds.

Great position, comfortable to reach the nearest point of interest, but isolate enough to not have groups of people roaming the beach. It is still not high season so it may change. Please go to the restaurant...at least once is amazing 😁.the structure is clean and cozy even in my single room.

Rome is amazing.

Rome is amazing. The locals are extremely helpful and friendly. The basillica was very busy and we had to queue for around 55mins ( seemingly this wasn't long at all) although once inside it was spectacular and absolutely worth a visit as was the other main attractions around the city . My favourite was the jewish quarter! The food is fantastic.

The little coastal town of Fiumicino offers a lot more than most usually think or assume, probably because it is an airport town. There are many very good restaurants on the little inland waterfront, which is cute and fun to walk down with many active bars and cafes also. There are also more good restaurants and bars etc., on the pretty beach front strip. The town is very safe, people are nice, not a bad place to spend a day at all!

I don't think many people think of "going to the beach" in Rome, but it's only about 30 minutes away and costs $1.50 by public transit. The town itself is a little slow when not in high beach season, but there are loads of restaurants and shops to keep you busy if the beach isn't your thing. Public transport is great. And, you can visit incredible recently unearthed Roman Ruins of Ostia Antica very easily.

This is a must see for Italy lovers, in my opinion. The history and art is extremely interesting and the ancient city is one you can get lost in, wandering down narrow charming streets, stumbling upon a palazzo from medieval times, or coming upon a breathtaking view. Viterbo is not a curated experience, such as Montalcino or Montepulciano. It is a bit gritty and caters to its community, not tourists. Its Etruscan and medieval era history and art is exceptional if limited. A great stopping off point if heading north from Rome. There are hot springs in the area which we didn't have time to experience.

Frascati is a small, pleasant town with a good range of bars, restaurants, cafes and gelateria. A taxi from Ciampino airport takes 20-30 minutes and costs €50-60. It is a particularly good place to stay if you want to be near Rome but not actually staying in the city. Eating out is much cheaper and the town is relatively quiet and relaxed. As a bonus, the transport links are excellent. Rome is just 30 minutes or so by train from a small station right in the centre, with trains every hour on weekdays and every two hours on Sundays. And nearby places of interest such as Castel Gandolfo, Ariccia and Velletri, are accessible by regular buses from the main square (Piazza Marconi).

We were in Tivoli to see the gardens about 30 years ago and were disappointed at the disrepair into which the gardens had fallen. But, time and money has transformed the gardens and restored its once splendid appearance. Now, the water falls are flowing, fountains spewing, water squirting from statues every orifice imaginable, streams gurgling. Strolling the grounds one felt like a Roman Emperor.
