We loved the carefully put-together design and general outlook of the Hotel. I felt that the work done here by the management comes from genuine care to highlight the traditional Romana culture. We felt the care of an Italian mama, without losing any of the current comforts of a hotel, such as smart connect TV/ digital key. The premises are maintained to a high standard keeping the traditional character of the Hotel but with a refreshed and modern setting. Any request we made was communicated and actioned upon promptly with a smile. Even though our stay was pretty short the area has an exquisite sample of a greek orthodox church Exarchic Greek Monastery of Santa Maria di Grottaferrata, since 1024. It is a hidden gem that we would love to revisit just to rest or as a base to explore the surrounding region!

EXCEPTIONAL This hotel is a charming-well-preserved historical villa with a magnificent garden and awesome scenery. Room and bathroom were spotless, with a generous selection of toiletries. Breakfast was superb hot and cold buffet. I was part of a large group of 79 people who stayed at this hotel to attend the wedding of my son in July 2023. The setting, the organisation and the food for both the reception and the dinner were beyond expectations. I was very impressed by the hotel entire team, including the front desk staff, waiters, technicians etc…who went above and beyond duty to attend to the guests’ demands promptly, efficiently and with a big friendly smile….A big thank you to the cleaning staff who found my watch accidentally while preparing the room for the next guests after I had checked out and left the hotel. All in all, it was an enjoyable and a memorable stay. Well done Tuscolana.

It’s in a really pretty area with a lot of greenery, and it is easy to get to cultural and historic sites from there (especially if you have a car). The breakfast is amazing, with a wide selection including traditional local products. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and very comfortable. It is also EXCELLENT if you’re travelling with pets; our cat had a great stay too!

Le Grotte were our first stop at this vacation. About an hour driving from the FCO airport. The place in reality is much more beatifull than in the pictures, a rustic country house, well furnished and well equipped, very clean, with a huge green well kept garden. Peacefull and quite place, the owner at the place had helped us whenever needed, and Barbara was very comunicative and answered any of our questions at any time. The lake shore is within a few minutes of walking and the old city Nemi is within 10 minutes driving from there (a must go!!!). On our way to Rome (in which is about an hour driving) we had even found some flea market which we had enjoyed a lot. If you are there visiting Nemi, go to the "le colombe" restaurant and send our best reguards to Alberto, wonderfull food and great hosting and atmosphere. LE grotte is nothing but a small piece of heaven on earth, surely we will be back there! Great place to stay, my suggestion - take at least 2 nights there, as it is impossible not to fall in love with it (we have had 3 and i wish we had taken more, now that i know this place)

We had a fantastic stay! The staff were all friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. The accommodation features its own beautiful restaurant, where we had dinner—delicious food at great prices. I highly recommend trying it out. The location is convenient, with a Euro Spin supermarket just 7 minutes away on foot, and a bus stop 15 minutes away. It's also only a 20-minute walk to the city center, where we dined at Mascelloni restaurant, which also had delicious food and great prices.Highly recommended. Overall, a wonderful stay with everything we needed nearby!

If you are looking for a place to spend quality time, like in a mansion, or to gain a better understanding of the life of Rome's cardinal, then this may be of interest to you. The hotel is more of a museum, a monument to its great past preserved on a hill with a stunning view and excellent accommodations. Frascati is a small, pleasant town with a good range of bars...

Frascati is a small, pleasant town with a good range of bars, restaurants, cafes and gelateria. A taxi from Ciampino airport takes 20-30 minutes and costs €50-60. It is a particularly good place to stay if you want to be near Rome but not actually staying in the city. Eating out is much cheaper and the town is relatively quiet and relaxed. As a bonus, the transport links are excellent. Rome is just 30 minutes or so by train from a small station right in the centre, with trains every hour on weekdays and every two hours on Sundays. And nearby places of interest such as Castel Gandolfo, Ariccia and Velletri, are accessible by regular buses from the main square (Piazza Marconi).

Spending two nughts was less of a riush. The only disappointment is the lack of information about the ooening times of Borga Laudato Si so despite soending two nighrs there it was not open on Friday. My host was great

Nothing special - it was a visit to my mum who is in a rest home. Vitit the pizzeria "the civette sul como'" it is good. Albano, a nice village, is very close, and it is a short drive to Castel Gandolfo (lake) and Tor Vaianica (beach)

Very friendly host. Clean room and bathroom. Quiet neighborhood. Good food and grocery stores at walking distance. Close to Castel Gandolfo lake and sightseeing. Great place to stay if coming by car. Parking inside the premises. On the down side, WiFi was not very reliable.

The quiet.

The quiet. The house keepers the farm cat, we fed during our stay. Other guests very noisy when they arrived or went out, forgetting there were other guests staying. It might be an Italian thing to be noisy. The staff weren’t very welcoming upon our arrival and the internet only available at reception and out by the pool, not available in the room.

It's a nice place to stay considering the cost and with good breakfast. It's a good place to stay after a long day travel. The bed was quite comfortable. Aircon was working fine. Except my room's (#210) shower drainage was plugged and water went down extremely slow. The location is not ideal but if you have a car and a GPS, you should be fine. It takes 45 min. from Collosseum to the hotel, 45 min. to the airport (FCO). There's nothing around the area, like shopping malls or attractions.

Beautiful area with easy transport links to Rome, Good local facilities with plenty of shops and supermarkets. Dining out was disappointing, the food was overpriced and not as good as I had previously enjoyed in Italy. For example, I was served an undercooked pizza and a risotto with scampi that arrived with only 1 scampi (second plate). This was in high season which also affected service, I almost left one restaurant without paying I had to wait so long for my bill.

Velletri is a cozy and a nice hilltop town . The people are friendly and helpful . The foods , gastromy, cafe are nice and cheap too ( in Europe) . We definitely strongly recommended Velletri. The visit is worthwhile and unforgettable.

Very nice local, well appointed accommodations.

Very nice local, well appointed accommodations. Excellent host, very good restaurants and lovely towns in the Castelli Romani region. Beautiful surroundings of Lake Albano and Nemi. Region very busy on weekends as many flock to area from Rome.
