Overall, we chose this hotel for its thermal pool, and we did not regret it. It was a real pleasure to walk from the thermal baths to our room in a robe.
The breakfast was European-style.

The property is really nice. Nice large well kept garden around it, a swimming pool/lounge area. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean(unlike some other places [that cost similar money] that somehow "forget" to clean the bathroom for weeks, if not months! with fungi and mould starting to live under the shower.. where in Vale di Vico - you could literally eat off the floor!) Bed was comfortable, room had heating that you could set to your preference(the nights are cold in May, so very nice to have that option) patio was very nice, looking out to the beautifully maintained garden. Included breakfast was delicious, buffet/swedish table type, very wide offer of food and drinks so you can choose what you prefer, from delicious pastries and cakes for a "italian style breakfast", to cereals, fruit, bread/toast, cheese, meat, vegetables, fruit juice/tea/coffee, and you can even order eggs or omelette to be made for you! Definitely try their hazelnut creams! and I'm sure that you'll buy some to take away! (I'm eating one as I write this ;) ) Staff made us feel very welcome, especially ladies that served breakfast.

Beautiful property with unique touches. I felt like I was in a dream.
Our room was spacious, and clean with a nice interior design.
Thank you Olivia and Romy you made our stay special.
We had the most beautiful dinner right next to the vegetable garden surrounded by nature and animals.

The apartment was great – very stylish (medieval style), very clean and new bathroom, good equipped kitchen, nice window view and location, great Wi-Fi. The host Matteo was great too (very friendly and hospitable!). Breakfast was very nice too (sweet and savory options available). Certainly, we would book again!

Very friendly and helpful hostess, who gave great advice on local attractions. Our rooms were large and comfortable. Situated at a busy working stables, so plenty of horse-related activity near the accommodation. Friendly dog and cats! Excellent breakfast. Plenty of space to park.

Great Staff! They were very accomodating and always helpful. Superb location and facilities. We enjoyed the outdoor terrace while have coffee. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfy. Housekeeping keeps up with this property!

One of the best hotels we stayed in Italy. Located outside Viterbo in beautiful area. The structure is dated, but in good condition. There is a nice pool and very good restorant. The room was spacious and we had a big terace.

Viterbo is a very old historic city. It's not as well known to tourists as other places in Lazio, but it's worth visiting. It gives you access to other historic towns within driving distance. There are some very good restaurants in Viterbo.

We were four friends traveling together.
We were four friends traveling together. We have been friends since we were 8 years old, and we were celebrating our 50th birthday. Everything exceeded our expectations - inside, outside and the host. It was jus the perfect balance for us. We recommend it or anybody looking for a retreat in the country side, but still close to a municipality and several historic sites and hot thermal pools - it is surely a house in the woods. We just absolutely loved it, and Simona was so friendly and gave us amazing suggestions on activity in a short drive away. The atmosphere was so friendly that we would rather stay in and cook dinner than go out - just so friendly, cozy, and welcoming :)

Ronciglione exceeded all our expectations.
Ronciglione exceeded all our expectations. We recommend it to everyone. The old part is very authentic, it is worth entering every street and alley. Go down into the valley. The city looks incredible from below. The road through the valley is very romantic. Be sure to walk down the valley to the old railway bridge - it looks really impressive. The village does not look very touristy, but for us that was only a plus.

There are many wonderful attractions around Viterbo.
Caprarola is one of the best.
This is a medieval hilly town among the fields and vineyards, which gives it its charm.
Villa Farnese is definitely worth the visit, and on must go to the park to the end to see very special fontaine and garden architecture.
Not a lot of restaurants (town is small) but of a high quality.

This is a must see for Italy lovers, in my opinion.
This is a must see for Italy lovers, in my opinion. The history and art is extremely interesting and the ancient city is one you can get lost in, wandering down narrow charming streets, stumbling upon a palazzo from medieval times, or coming upon a breathtaking view. Viterbo is not a curated experience, such as Montalcino or Montepulciano. It is a bit gritty and caters to its community, not tourists. Its Etruscan and medieval era history and art is exceptional if limited. A great stopping off point if heading north from Rome. There are hot springs in the area which we didn't have time to experience.

The town is small, but it has a very personal atmosphere. The people are all friendly, they are not yet facing a mass influx of tourists and it shows in their great willingness to help, to treat. The surroundings are extremely charming, but it's good to have a car; public transport works well, but it's still not that frequent, which is understandable given the location and size. Soriano is a small place, but there are plenty of sights to see, and it's possible to enjoy its atmosphere, which larger places don't allow as well.

A beautiful town which deserves more visitors, the food was the best of our entire trip, the La Casa del Gusto was especially notable (pick whatever mushrooms are in season, especially if they are offering them with steak!).
The Villa Farnese and gardens are well worth a visit and really magical with incredible staff.
Wish we could have stayed longer, this is a lovely peaceful spot with rich history, culture and food.

I have visited Viterbo a number of times and love walking...
I have visited Viterbo a number of times and love walking around the historical centre. I use Viterbo as my base to visit towns and sites nearby as I don't drive, so it is very convenient and well serviced by Cotral bus services to the different places.

The facilities were excellent, but the property was...
The facilities were excellent, but the property was difficult access due to steep narrow streets. We called and the management arranged for us and our luggage to be picked up in the parking lot and brought to the resort. At checkout they returned us to our car.
