Beautiful place in such a pretty location. The stuff was very helpful and kind. We visited in May during rainy weather and thanks to that stay we were very entertained. Saunas and jacuzzi are very nice, everything looks very cosy and in a nice style. Food and the service in the restaurant was one of the best, we have ever experienced. I definitely recommend to stay there!

Clean and comfortable and centrally located close to everything in town. Breakfast was really good and the massage centre and sauna were great too. Was initially concerned since there were a lot of people hanging out in the games room and lounge areas making a bit of noise since we needed a good sleep but once we.got up to our room we couldn't hear anything and the sound proofing kept noise at a minimum and we slept well.

We loved everything about this place: beautiful location, stunning landscape, ideal starting point for hikes along the Soča trail, charming and helpful staff, cozy huts, tasteful decoration, well equipped outdoor community cooking area. The evening in the rustic hot tub on the privately located terrace in the woods above the camp and spectacular view of the starry night sky was our highlight!

The hospitality of Ana and the owners was simply great. All were very kind and helpful. The chalet was extraordinary with an unique view towards the valley. Nothing was missing here. Fabulous setting, fantastic location: idyllic and romantic Food and drinks are available for free all day long. This place is out of this world. I highly recommend!!!

Hotel Boka is a small family run place and the owner’s love for what he does oozes from every corner of it. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly, there was lovely music playing throughout reception and the location is absolutely exceptional just on the banks of the river and a short walk from a spectacular waterfall.

The breakfast is absolutely outstanding and the hotel is perfectly located on the lake. It is a modern hotel with all the amenities that go with that. You pay for parking but no free parking is to be had anywhere. Parking is at a premium everywhere in Bled.

Rightly described as “the most relaxing destination in...

Rightly described as “the most relaxing destination in Europe,” with “mirror-still water, a serene alpine setting, and fairytale-like scenery.” The lake, the island, the town itself, the views of the Julian Alps, the proximity to other places, the atmosphere, the culture, the cuisine (and options) all contribute to a holiday experience that is nothing short of magical. We have visited Bled several times and even brought a group of 75 people to Bled. It remains among our favorite places in all of Europe.

Wonderful place in December when we visited.

Wonderful place in December when we visited. Walking around Lake Jasna was enjoyable, especially with the fire near the restaurant and Christmas decorations, The town is beautiful and was very active on a Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed Pizza in the old part of town at a local restaurant.

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake...

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

Our trip was in summer. As a town/area Tarvisio wasn't as quite as nice (in summer) as other places we stayed out in nearby Slovenia, but it was fine. I imagine the location would be perfect for ski-season.

Lesce is a local residential village so nothing special is really happening there. It is quite small and very quiet with supermarkets in the vicinities. The best thing about Lesce is it central location to all the major areas around Lake Bled.

The small village of Mojstrana is at the beginning of the climbing area for Triglav, and the place is amazing—calm and beautiful. Houses and backyards are so clean, and the stream in the center of village is so cute. If you like bike tour there is bike road toward Kranjska Gora.

Gemona del Friuli is a gem between the mountains and the river Tagliamento. It's a great location for lovers of hiking, biking, paragliding and other sports. I spend time in Gemona every time I come back to Italy. It's one of my favorite spots in the Alps. The people are friendly and happy.

Kobarid is a nice little town situated on Soča river between Tolmin and Bovec. There are numerous possibilities of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, paragliding, kayaking or simply taking a dip in stunningly turquoise Soča. Short drive to Nadiža river which is also beautiful. Kozjak waterfall and hanging bridges are obligatory to visit.

The Tolmin Gorge is an absolute must do.

The Tolmin Gorge is an absolute must do. We also climbed the hill up to the Kozlov Rob castle, but a portion of the castle was blocked off, which was a disappointment. A much better use of our time would have been to drive up sooner to Kolovrat Museum of the First World War; which isn't a museum, but a fascinating preservation of WW 1 bunkers and some of the most spectacular views of mountains and sea you will experience while in Slovenia. It got dark before we could fully explore the trails, tenches and bunkers.
