We spontaneously decided to stay one more night and got upgraded for the same price to a bigger room which was just phenomenal. The hotel is super beautiful, the breakfast was amazing, the spa clean & nice and all staff very friendly. We will hopefully come back one day, thanks a lot @ Alpenrose Team!

The surroundings was beautiful. We liked the apartment very much, very clean, spacious. Nice Alpin interior. We got into the apartment very easily, we checked-in through WhatsApp. They advised to do grocery shopping beforehand, as there are no shops, restaurants nearby. Snow and ice nicely cleaned on the stairs. Cute dog.

Ester is the owner of the house, she live in the upstairs house. She is a kindest women who i ever met in my life. Her smile and her welcoming on the first day made us feel like we are at home since we arrived. First of all we should have to take over the apartman at 4pm, but we arrived early at 3pm and she was happy to give us the keys straight away. She baked us a lovley cake as a present, also we had an unexpected guest and she helped us straight away to accomodate her. Also she gave us her own kitchen equipments, mixer etc. when it was a rainy day and we wanted to bake. The house is amazing as it is and the garden is beautiful and equipped with lot of armchair to have a rest after a hard mountain climbing. And i didnt even mention the amazing view from all the windows and garden. Everything is perfect as it is. I am spending 10 days in the Dolomites every year but it was the best accomodation i ever been before, and i will be returning next year for sure.

Great location near mini supermarket and ski hire. 50m from piste (across the square). Clean, spacious and comfortable accommodation. We had a great time here but we were lucky with the weather - clear blue skies all week following 15cm snow the day before arrival, then cold temperatures which kept the on piste conditions very good, also thanks to the Italian snow groomers working all night. Beautiful mountains and some good reds and blacks nearby. Sell Ronda was very crowded due to half term holidays, safety a concern. The electricity tripped out one night when we were cooking - it took us a while with our head torches to discover there is a second set of trips in the basement!

We booked a studio apartment which is great for a short stay. There is plenty of space to sit at the dining table and to have a meal. There is access to the common balcony. The apartment was very clean and had enough equipment for the two of us. There is a garage in the basement and sauna and a plunge pool/spa in the relaxation zone area. We highly recommend that place for anyone wanting to explore the Dolomites. BTW, near the hotel is an excellent small shop/deli; Sandros Deli. They sell local produces with most amazing speck. Go there early to have their yummy dark flour bread rolls.

Quiet and comfortable family-run hotel in Arabba, a perfect spot for exploring the Dolomites. The rooms are comfortable and clean and have a balcony overlooking the mountains. The breakfast is solid, there are plenty of options for a filling breakfast and different hot drinks. The service was fast and helpful. The bed was super comfortable. There is a bike storage so I could keep my bike safe and dry while I wasn't cycling. I would definitely stay here again.

I had an amazing time at Chalet Barbara in Arabba. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the location was perfect for skiing. What truly made the experience special was the incredible staff – they went above and beyond, making me feel like home. I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place and would definitely return!

The location is very convenient. Right next to two lifts and many trails for hiking. The hotel itself is not new, but the rooms are neat and comfortable. The highest compliments to the hotel restaurant! The food is simply perfect, a large selection, different dishes every day, the staff is pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended!

Simple, but cosy and clean accommodation with good breakfast. Small sauna is a nice bonus (free, just a reservation sometimes needed in advance). Ski room available at the "main" hotel closer to the city centre (and ski lifts).

Lovely central location in the dolomites!

Lovely central location in the dolomites! We were able to explore different areas each day and no matter where you stay, everything involves a bit of a drive through the valleys but we don't mind at all because you drive with lovely views and through charming villages and around every corner is a new view!!

Very good location for those interrested in climbing the surrounding mountains, hiking to the numerous mountain cabins or just enjoying the beautifull nature. The winding roads are exellent, but somewhat precipitous. Colourfull traditional architecture with dominant wood and lush flowers.

Beautiful village, good starting point for skiing and mountain hiking, quite difficult to get to (high altitude), only one grocery store, few restaurants, open mainly in the evenings and everything is very expensive

Excellent place for a ski trip.

Excellent place for a ski trip. Has plenty of slopes nearby and is directly on Sella Ronda and Grande Guerra for whole day skiing adventures. You can easily get to Marmolada which has an amazing view of the Dolomites. Local ski-pass is a bit pricy compared to Austria and France. This is partly offset by Dolomiti Super Ski pass which lets you access a huge number of locations and is a bargain if you're a good skier and can cover a lot of ground. There is a point-based ski pass which is transferrable and is good for parents that need to babysit.
