A lovely location outside Akureyri (12 minutes or so) set on the side of the fjord with great views of the surrounding mountains and good for northern lights if they are kind enough to show. Our bedrooms were in a separate building to the main building, were clean and comfortable with comfy beds and good showers. Breakfast was plentiful and with a good variety of things to choose from. There is a nice lounge area and a great walk down to the water’s edge. The staff couldn’t have been kinder, helping us out when one of our group was not well.

Everything was perfect but there was a heavy smell in the bathroom possibly coming from pipes.

The hotel is located in the center of the city, There is a kitchen in the corridor providing coffee/tea all the time. There is even a washing machine for use by guests even though we did not make use of it.

Center of the town, easy to go everywhere in the city. The counter staff are nice and recommended to us where to park our car. Giving us printer service when I have personal needs.

The room was very large, comfortable and with view. It had two desks, a microwave, a refrigerator, a sink and all the necessary to make coffee or tea. The hotel breakfast was complete. Akureyri is also very beautiful. I recommend the hotel.
