One small comment, it would be nice to have a sofa in addition to the chairs in the lobby of the main building. Very nice hotel, can only recommend.

EstoniaI thought that very comfortable beds were only possible in Austria, but no - The Greenhouse Hotel managed to beat any place I've stayed in so far. And there are lots of them. Then there are many lovely places to eat downstairs. And enough parking spaces for all guests. And special kudos goes to the WhatsApp group warning you about Northern Lights happening - it really helped us see the magic.

Our stay at Heima Holiday Homes was amazing. The homes were so clean and updated with full kitchen and large bathrooms. The hosts were so helpful and assisted us with travel plans during some bad weather to ensure we were safe in our activities and travel to other destinations. The location is very nice with a beautiful view and is a short drive to town for food etc. we would highly recommend staying here and would absolutely go back.

The room was exactly as pictured. We were comfortable throughout our short stay, and the host was very accommodating. We had some car trouble that made us arrive later than expected but thanks to the staff we were able to make it work. Breakfast was great as well, and we really appreciated the drink station for tea when we got in from the cold. Many thanks!

Fantastic hotel in an exceptional location. The room had the most beautiful views over the mountains. It is modern and minimalistic but with a cozy feel. The outdoor relaxation pool is lovely. The bed was the best I have had in any hotel! Breakfast is good with just the right amount of different choices.

I really want to come back. Our room was just beyond. We had wonderfull view on the nature, pool was near and we liked it so much. Selection on breakfast was great. I ate too much I guess. Best stay on Iceland. And the local cat...she is one big fluff of cuteness. Thank you for pleasant stay.

The small hotel was so beautiful. The restaurant, the room (with a huge TV, a huge bed and nice garden view), all perfectly decorated.

The town of "flowers" is a good name for this place, as it is the warmest place in Iceland, where they grow flowers and enjoy life.
It has the best swimming pool of the whole country, with an amazing "steam room" that is heated with steam straight from the vulcanic core of our planet.

Centre of Fludir has grocery store, a gas station and 2 hotels - all four located very closely across the street. So we could get full tank of gadoline to drive further and wr had really good breakfast in hotel, but for the evening got some food in the shop. We didn't spend much time there and sayed only for one night driving through from one destination point to anothes as we dind't find any interesting object to visit in this town.

What I liked most was the location and the cottage itself. It was in fantastic conditions and modern styled which made it feel very luxury.
We ate at the restaurant which has the same owner as the cottages, and though it was a great selection of food - it was not the best for me who's gluten intolerant. However, they were super helpful and made sure I got something as well.

Do your food shopping before you arrive as there are no local shops. Selfoss is a good place to stock up.
Make sure you stop into Skalholt- good views, nice archeological sites and a good bistro.
