Beautiful property with history, art and antique touches through out! Pool opens early which is great of you need to do laps. Lovely evening lounge vibe. Everything was top notch. Amazing brand new structure with a lovely and dedicated staff. The room was just amazingly furnished with lots of small things that just improve your staying, the restaurant is quite diverse with lots of option either for the buffet or the à la carte menu and the food is just delicious. The staff is very dedicated and attentive towards the client, overall I have to say that it has been hands down my best staying in Mumbai so far, and I'm there at least twice a year so I've seen all sorts of things; but I'm pretty sure I found my place.

We enjoyed a few local tours while we were in Mumbai...

We enjoyed a few local tours while we were in Mumbai including Elephanta Island. It was a nice break from the city and well worth the couple hours to visit. The farther north the busier and more crowded it became, The Colaba area is nice but the shopping is more toward the western styles. The more traditional Indian items are more north. Getting around Mumbai is easiest via Uber. Taxis are also easy to locate but we always needed to call in advance to make arrangements. Be patient, traffic can be busy and congested. The people make the visit the best.

This is one of the worst experiences with booking dot com.

This is one of the worst experiences with booking dot com. Even after specifically mentioning that we would check in late (around 11 PM), the owner had given the room to different person. We had even tried calling on the day of check-in to inform that we will be checking in late. We couldn't talk to the owner as some other guy picked the call and mentioned that the owner is not present. This happened 3-4 times during our travel to the stay. Only after reaching the stay we realized that the room was given to someone else. The owner was very rude and told that things will happen according to their wish. Why would I even make a pre booking in that case?? I was even ready to make payment, if only the owner had talked to me. We ended up searching for another stay(tired after driving for nearly 8-9 hours) near by and stayed there. Worst experience ever. My humble request is to block list this stay and mark it as spam.

We were only in Pune for a week as we were attending a 3 day...

We were only in Pune for a week as we were attending a 3 day wedding event. Our friends took us out for breakfast when we arrived. We had to do a bit of shopping for the wedding & the Phonenix Shop Centre was in walking distance, we had load of variety of shops. We had lunch there and all was very good, clean restaurants. Unfortunately we didn't get to explore Pune which was a shame.

A special mention to Ms. Sonali, the General Manager, who was kind enough to speak with me personally. My deepest gratitude to Mr. Chetan Tandon and Ms. Ankita for thoughtfully moving me to a more comfortable room and making my stay truly pleasant during my first trip to Ahmedabad. It was a wonderful example of teamwork and exceptional hospitality.

Our family of 8 people booked a stay together at The Amrit of nearly a week. We had different schedules at times. The staff graciously accommodated everyone. The setting was a beautiful, quiet oasis and yet in town, and close to the beach. The host and hostess were so informative and helpful. They recommended good restaurants (The Gunpowder was excellent) and arranged cabs for us. All of us enjoyed our stay very much and would plan to book at The Amrit when returning to Goa.

It's a great city and hill station to plan for your quick gateway. Since it's a hill station, there are lot of places where you can go and sit and watch sunrise or sunset. You can go for hiking, food, spa anything.

It is a religious place which attracts people from all over. The place has got some lovely stay options as well as some nice dining options. The local people are friendly and helpful but since it is a religious place have to be careful with commercial activities

Dusty. Very very dusty.

Dusty. Very very dusty. Carry a portable rechargeable vacuum / blower. Your vehicle will be covered in a thick layer of red clay dust. DO NOT FORGET YORU MASKS, FRANKLY A RESPIRATOR. There are no roads in a few stretches. Some places have NIL connectivity to JIO service. Better to download off-line maps.

Its a place with bad roads, people have very poor traffic sense and civility. The Sula vineyard was overrun with people, the jyotirling temple had a 3 hour queue at 6:30am. Food options were limited. Overall preferred places like Aurangabad and Kolhapur which we also covered in this trip
