Often in India there's at least one thing wrong with the hotel room however this was not the case with Ganga Maiya. It was absolutely faultless. Its unusual to get all of the following right: Hot shower with good pressure Clean room with modern fixtures Comfy beds Quiet room with little outside street noise Room service was excellent - we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in our room. Both were tasty and reasonably priced. Very professional receptionist and team. It's also within walking distance of the train station and main sites in Lucknow.

The service was outstanding in all areas and the hotel management is very impressive. Every little details is well thought through. The location is incredible and our room with balcony had a fabulous view of the Taj Mahal. ( the only hotel which does). The decor is beautiful. The room has very comfort. The food was delicious. The pool was heated with comfortable sun beds.
