The hotel was very clean ,modern and nicely maintained. The staff was very kind and friendly. They helped us with our travel and quite accommodating as well. Breakfast was very decent and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service as well. Driver David chaperoned us and was of excellent help. Great Trails Yercaud Hotel is like an oasis in the sky. The elevated setting and architecture of this well-maintained complex is enchanting, the photos not doing it justice. I really liked the setout of the room (valley view) and it was lovely sitting out on the balcony above the clouds looking onto the scenery far below. While we skipped dinner, the breakfast and lunch options were tasty - fresh with lots of variety. The dining room was an experience in itself, with views of the valley and trees. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a lot of attention to detail so as to ensure our comfort. The hotel put on many events and were evidently family and dog-friendly with even a special play area for the dogs. We enjoyed the free tiffin in the afternoons at 4pm again with breathtaking views. Overall a really good experience and we would come again.

Phenomenal stay in chidambara vilas. The hospitality was so warm, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The restaurant staff took such special care of my daughter's order. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The people and history of this place were just amazing. The banana leaf lunch was the best we had in our India trip!

People throw waste.Areas around some metros like Kilpauk, Fort and bus stops on Mount Road are habitated by nomads, who dirty the places with food, urine, faeces - these people should be arrested immediately and warned. Kilambakkam mtc staff are not friendly and many lack knowledge of bus routes. The bus timings of the next bus in a stop is a good move.

Our Ooty trip was quite nice. Pykkarra lake and pine forest were beautiful. Ooty town was very crowded and dirty. It wasn’t pleasant. Ooty is single-use plastic free so you will not be able to buy 500ml bottles. You can buy the larger bottles, I think 2-5l. And fill your water bottles with that. From Ooty we drove down to Coonoor through Wellington. Wellington is extremely clean and organized. Coonoor was also nice. But Sims park was my favourite. There are some old trees from 1800s. Pretty amazing.

People loots tourist and in Minakashi Temple its like corporate or commercial temple staff of temple behavior was very ridiculous and not so helpful also temple staff not give a chance to pray and to look the Minakashi Idol to devotees, they were pushing the devotees which is not acceptable, i wont prefer to visit Madurai specially Minakashi Temple.

Alright, so I've been thinking about my trip to 🌴Coimbatore recently, and I just have to share my thoughts! First off, the weather was just perfect, not too hot, not too cold – just right for exploring the city. I spent a lot of time just wandering around and soaking in the local vibe; it was so relaxed. The food scene was incredible 😋, with delicious South Indian dishes everywhere I turned. I also made sure to visit some of the temples and historical sites; each one told a fascinating story. The people I met were super friendly and welcoming 🤗, always ready with a smile and helpful advice. Shopping at the local markets was a blast, picking up some unique souvenirs. Overall, Coimbatore is a fantastic place to visit, offering a great mix of culture, food, and relaxation! I can't wait to go back and explore even more of the area.

It was very good.

It was very good. The timing was excellent and my family enjoyed the stay. Had to plan the trips in Kodai (especially need to start early in the day to beat the traffic at the attractions during this season) Didnt have much attraction for the very Youngr kids apart from the attraction of any new place and food.

It’s a good temple town. The climate is excellent.

It’s a good temple town. The climate is excellent. There are many Ashramas including Ramanaashram. Ashta linga temples are commemorative. The town is crowded and filled with tourists, especially foreign tourists. I could see lot of garbage on both sides of the road. Quality of the food is disappointing. People here are very rude to the tourists. They speak only Tamil no other languages. Sign boards are mostly in Tamil, difficult to apprehend for tourists.

A person/family believe in god and sanatana dharma must visit once a lifetime and spend atleast 5 to 6 days to cover temples like Srirangam, Jambukeswarar temple (jalalingam), Uthamar temple, Shiva temples at Thiruvasi, Thiruppangali, Thirupperaithurai( paadal petra Sthalams) Venkatachalapathy temple at Gunaseelam ( Vishnu Abhimana Ksetram), Mariamman Kovil at Samayapuram, Pundarikaksha perumal Kovil at Thiruvellarai , Brahmapureeswara temple at Thirupattur, Uchhi Pilliyar kovil, Thayumanavaru Kovil at rockfort, Appakkuduthan temple at Thirupper nagar , perumal temples at Anbil and Oorayur Bad: Narrow roads No driving sense and unruly traffic. Very poor police presence No crowd management systems in place at Srirangam and Samayapuram Mariamman temples No chappal stands at many temples No proper parking facilities at many temples but royally charge your for parking by the contractors

We did not visit Mahabalipuram as we were traveling with elderly folks and just wanted a weekend break. But since we live in Chennai, we have been to Mahabalipuram dozens of times! It is always an incredible place to visit and the ancient ruins from the Pallava dynastic times are breathtaking in their beauty and relevance to our local culture. A beautiful tourist destination near Bangalore. This could be an alternative to Ooty or Coorg which are always over crowded. Weather was awesome, place provides good sightseeing like Pagoda Point, Killiyur Falls, Lake etc. The best part was Peeku Park - dont miss this. Sky Park also has good activities for kids. There are some cool restaurants to explore in Yercaud. Basil Bakehouse, Sheveroys Signature are a few good ones. Chocolates shopping is not to be missed. Kids enjoyed the trip & so as we.
