The staff was really helpful, we checked in at 1 AM (midnight) and Alok ji made sure that we had everything from an extra mattress to a heater, hot water, etc.. One can book the whole property if you're a group of 20-30 people. The food was also amazing as well. The property is cozy and maintained although a short stretch of road just before reaching the property is rough but it was worth it when we reached the property.

Cool nice place for a quiet clean air quality and noise free...

Cool nice place for a quiet clean air quality and noise free stay within a green jungle area. Kulchas, Tasty Tea, Maggie, biryani, local food, FRUITS, at decent prices all over. Charm of Safari and Tiger is in air. Not too hilly to reach, like mussorie, nainital or shimla. Plain fast access but feel of a real hill station through out for kilometres.

The nearby places like Garjiya Devi Temple and Jungle Safari are very much accessible from here. The local food and street side tea vendors give you wonderful culinary experience. Do visit Garijiya Devi Temple, Kosi River Bed and Flaying Sparrow Strawberry Farm at Ramnagar.

Though it was a last minute change of plans and booked it...

Though it was a last minute change of plans and booked it just a day before we checked in, it was worth everything we were looking forward too, just felt bad it was a very short stay, couldn't walk down the river which was amazing to see from above.

I travelled alot in Uttarakhand region in differ-differ locations but I never thought that their is something which is really peaceful nd nearby location to Kaladungi that I never thought ever .. You must visit once Kota Bagh ..

Not green enough, options other than resorts are minimal or nil. We went to kosi river ramnagar it was very dirty. N a food restaurant near it was very unhygienic, it was smelling of dead rats. It was pathetic.

Nice location but useless property!

Nice location but useless property! Pictures are shown on website are taken minimum 10 years back and completely edited on photoshop. Swimming pool is most disappointed part of the stay. Water is changed ones in month and the water is not treated every day it’s like big water tub filled once and doesn’t change the water in months. Bathrooms doesn’t have hot water and water pressure is so low that you can not do anything.

The road from Ramnagar onwards is very bad and property to approx. 2 hours (40 Kms) away from the main city. Once you reach the property you have no option for near travel you have to travel 2 hours to get to the market or book a jungle safari, if the option from the hotel does not meet your requirement

One time visit only place, locals will cheat you. Acorn hideaway resort and spa is the place where i stayed is worst place and management is a bunch of thugs who would extort money from you. Safary guys are also bunk of crooks

It is not very easy to get around by yourself, since the property is located in the forest area. However, if you want a relaxed and peaceful break, this is a lovely resort. The food was excellent and the staff were outstanding.
