I stayed 2 nights at Om Sai Beach Resort and had a great and relaxing time here. As a solo female traveler, safety is very important for me and I felt safe and protected here at all times. The staff is very friendly, always ready to help. My hut was spacious and very clean, the bed was big and very comfy. There are beach view and garden view huts. I stayed in a beach view hut and enjoyed the beautiful sea view from my balcony a lot. Overall, very good value for money.

Everything was fine with our stay in Palolem close to the beach and to all restaurants for a good breakfast. The owner is very kind and also included in the rate our laundry. Our room was equipped with fridge and TV. Bed was comfortable with 2 pillows each and most important was very clean!

Location was great, 10 cabins facing each other, 5 either sude. with a very well maintained garden path though the middle leading to the beach. Unlike other places to stay with the same setup there were NO people using it as a cut through which meant it was very private. The rooms were lovely and clean and the guys (Nilan & Sanjaya) simply could not do enough for you, way beyond anything we have experienced before, as example we said the ceiling fan was making a tiny clicking speed (and it was a very tiny noise) they changed it for a brand new one. Rooms cleaned as often as you required, towels changed as required. No noise at all from surrounding area, great for shops or beach both just 3 - 4 minutes away.

Spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed, it provided the perfect retreat after days spent exploring or relaxing by the pool. Speaking of which, the hotel's location is idyllic. Situated directly on the beach, with the soothing sounds of the waves just steps away, it offered a sense of serenity while still being conveniently close to local amenities. The culinary offerings at the Calungate Park Hotel were simply outstanding. The Christmas Day brunch was a magnificent feast, a true celebration of flavors and festive cheer. But honestly, every meal was a delight, from the beautifully presented breakfasts to the delicious à la carte options. The quality and freshness of the food were evident in every bite. The Park Hotel provided us with an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect blend of luxurious comfort, exceptional service, and a stunning location. This is one of the worst experiences with booking dot com.

This is one of the worst experiences with booking dot com. Even after specifically mentioning that we would check in late (around 11 PM), the owner had given the room to different person. We had even tried calling on the day of check-in to inform that we will be checking in late. We couldn't talk to the owner as some other guy picked the call and mentioned that the owner is not present. This happened 3-4 times during our travel to the stay. Only after reaching the stay we realized that the room was given to someone else. The owner was very rude and told that things will happen according to their wish. Why would I even make a pre booking in that case?? I was even ready to make payment, if only the owner had talked to me. We ended up searching for another stay(tired after driving for nearly 8-9 hours) near by and stayed there. Worst experience ever. My humble request is to block list this stay and mark it as spam.

Our family of 8 people booked a stay together at The Amrit of nearly a week. We had different schedules at times. The staff graciously accommodated everyone. The setting was a beautiful, quiet oasis and yet in town, and close to the beach. The host and hostess were so informative and helpful. They recommended good restaurants (The Gunpowder was excellent) and arranged cabs for us. All of us enjoyed our stay very much and would plan to book at The Amrit when returning to Goa.

I guess it’s one of the best in Goa, I have visited many beaches in Goa but I think Palolem is the best . Clean water n can go inside the sea upto 500 mtrs without any fear. I went with my kids n they enjoyed like anything without any fear.

Arambol is a no frills beach, not to say it is not a place to visit but if you are looking for a well maintained beach with showers, toilette blocks and cement ramps down to the beach look elsewhere. What it is however is a lovely stretch of beach full of friendly people, nice bars that serve food and amazing sunsets. The sea is wonderfully warm, however quite murky so if you are hoping for some snorkelling then you may be a little disappointed. For me it was perfect, there are lifeguards, there are also cows! The town, like the beach is very rustic and matches the beach perfectly. There are plenty of shops and places to eat and buy gifts. It is essentially a village that expands during the holiday season. If you have made the trip to immerse yourself in a place that smells and feels like India then this is the place, if you are after a slick holiday in the warmth then maybe look elsewhere. For me it was perfect, the people were lovely, weather amazing, and not once did I feel judged for being a pasty middle aged man not participating in self improvement! The final nod to Arambol was the number of Indians from other states visiting, if they are there then you are in the right place.

It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very spread out and at night the wild dogs are quite agressive which I struggled with. I enjoy walking, but here you need to have a car / scooter or take lots of taxis. The market was good, we ate in nice restaurants like The Tanjore Tiffin (a bit more up market and we loved it), MS Slow Tide and Pirates Cafe on the beach. We also had a night out in Juna nightclub - good fun with great cocktails. Overall I didn't like Anjuna much, we were there in the low season and we struggled with getting around and all the dogs. It really depends what you're looking for, but for me Candolim was a better location and we left Anjuna early to return there.

As I said earlier, one of best location in north goa, very calm. But not very good room service and very less options for vegetarian.. Best place for sea food lovers- fat fish restaurant Baga beach is nearby Water sports are also nearby Tito lane - jaan of North goa is also just walking

A great city with lots to do, and some lovely restaurants. Walking tours are a great way to see the city and the surroundings. I particularly recommend Old Goa, Divar Island, and Fontainhas. Local tour operator Make it Happen are great

Just go there if you are looking for a clean, unspoiled beach, which offers calm, serenity and great opportunities for dolphin sighting. Also, very easy to reach honeymoon, butterfly, cola and kakolem beaches from Agonda.

Loved Morjim.

Loved Morjim. Friendly, conveniently located close to the services in town and to the beach. Lots of action but walkable. No rickshaws, plenty of motorbike taxis if you need a ride. Nice temperatures in December.
