Review: This was our first time in India as Europeans, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay at The Imperial Hotel! From the moment we landed to the time we departed, the staff went above and beyond to help us navigate this beautiful yet chaotic city. The taxis provided by the hotel were top-notch, the room was fantastic, and every single restaurant exceeded our expectations. The staff deserves nothing but praise for their professionalism and hospitality. If we ever return to India, we will definitely stay at The Imperial again. The hosts were unbelievable kind. Anything we asked for we got. We were treated exceptionally well. The room was very large, clean and had everything you need including excellent wifi. The location is in a very busy part of town, but the small street the hotel is on, is still very calm and quiet. They have something very good going here and they are always looking to improve. Excellent value for money.

What I like most about The Lalit Hotel New Delhi is the consistent hospitality shown by all the staff, regardless of their position in the hotel. I noticed that they treat all guests fairly, with respect and kindness, regardless of appearance or social status. In addition to this exceptional service, I appreciated the spacious and comfortable rooms, the delicious and varied breakfast buffet, and the hotel’s excellent central location, which makes exploring the city incredibly convenient. To sum up my stay at The Lalit, I would say it was a truly delightful and memorable experience marked by outstanding hospitality, comfort, and convenience. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New Delhi.

I checked in several hours behind schedule, thanks to the incredibly bad customer service of Qatar Airways, who had not only destroyed my suitcase but to add insult to injury, had kept me waiting for over 2 hours to file a damage report. I was obviously not in a good mood. However, the hotel immediately sensed that and upgraded me to their nicest room as a way to ensure that I at least had a comfortable end to a long and stressful day. I cannot underscore just how much I appreciated this simple act of acknowledgment of my mental state and the generous act of kindness in such a situation. The room was obviously very comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast was delicious and full of options to satisfy every palate.

Excellent Hotel If you book a room on the 9th floor of the building: the rooms there are excellent! Bevause it is only on this 9th floor tat the renovation is just finished. The breakfast and luch was excellent too. What was great too: The hotel gave me early check-inn without extra costs because I was a woman travelling alone, and they want to stimulate woman to do that and to give women a safe and comfortable feeling when they are travelling alone👍

Delhi is easy to commute as multiple options available from Bus / Auto Rickshaw / Public bus service / Metro are available. Food options are plenty, right from Road side eateries to posh locations. Food quality and people friendliness is guaranteed.

You need to be cautious while staying in delhi.,specially the area outside new delhi railway station...if you get out on paharganj side where mostly all the hotels are..just outside railway station you will find roadside restraunts whee their staff will insist you to come and eat food ..then they will overcharge eveything you eat and the quality will be very very poor..and if you say anything they will try to harm you ..also the whole road is filled with touts for hotels and eveything..i would suggest dont stay in paharganj if you are with family ..most hotels are doing shady things i booked online but i got a very shady place in my budget that was rs 500..its ok for solo travellers and backpackers but they need to be cautious about their bellongings and not to get in any any of the scam like bars ,spas etc ..dont talk to any local person there who pretend to provide any services even the travel companies will scam you..its better you take such sevices online and think before you pay for anything in advance.

Do not go to Delhi.

Do not go to Delhi. The people are always trying to find ways to cheat and definitely not safe for new people. I would not recommend this city to visit. Also booking.com didn't even care to verify the authenticity of the hotel. So it's a big minus from myside. I hope booking.com would ban this hotel (hotel premium caves).
