RussiaThe hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff at reception is very helpful and friendly. There's a big car parking near the hotel. The breakfast and the dinner are delicious! The room is quite spacious, the bed is very comfortable. There's a shuttle bus going to the beach every 20 minutes. There's a shop at the hotel with all necessary stuff. Wish I had a longer stay in this hotel.

We booked a deluxe room requesting a view. We had a large king size bed, a comfortable sofa, a very large bathroom and a balcony facing the entrance to Wadi Arugot. It was really lovely to relax on the balcony in the AM and PM. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. There was a huge selection of fresh fruit, veggies, salads, short order cook for eggs, cooked dishes including shakshuka (!), cereals, breads, yogurts and more. We chose to eat dinner at Ein Gedi kibbutz rather than driving to Ein Bokek for a meal at the mall. There was again, a huge selection of foods to please the vegans, vegetarians and omnivores. The Ein Gedi Botanical garden is so diverse with many exotic trees and plants. We really did not have time to use the spa or the swimming pools. Ein Gedi Kibbutz is quite close to several trails for hiking.

This is my second time to Einbok, Israel.
Last time, I came in group and stayed in David Sea Resort Spa and it was good. But it was crowded.
This time, I come only with my wife and choose this hotel. Definitely, it's fantastic in many aspects:
1.Adult only and avoid noisy and mess
2.Tailor- made private swimming pool and message
3.Tasty Moroccan style dinner
4.Closr to public beach within minutue walk
The price is also decent compared with others.

I recently stayed for 3 nights at the Herbert Samuel Dead...
I recently stayed for 3 nights at the Herbert Samuel Dead Sea Hotel, and the experience was truly wonderful. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with beautiful views and excellent amenities. The spa and Dead Sea facilities were outstanding, and the pool area was relaxing and well-maintained.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made the stay even more pleasant. The food was delicious with a great variety at every meal. Overall, it was a perfect combination of comfort, relaxation, and great service.
I fully recommend the Herbert Samuel Dead Sea for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. I would happily return!

Wow, shocked at how bad this hotel is. I don’t think you can really call it a hotel. Tiny rooms, zero view, very run down. Hotel restaurant has some of the worst food we have ever had and is super expaive. The pool is a kibitz pool shared with residents.

Room was fine and it was clean, but, needed a major face-lift..One tiny single blanket was provided for two if us. Ants were crawling in the bed. Tv wasn't working, electricity cut off of at 7.30 in the morning, which forced us to get up due the the extreme heat as aircon did not work

Beautiful setting, sitting out under the stars for hours...
Beautiful setting, sitting out under the stars for hours with the view of the Dead Sea right there....so quiet! We were grateful for the air conditioning and refrigerator (it was very hot outside--but in the evening cooled way down). Very close to Ein Gedi and just down the road from Qumran and Massada. Loved it! Would go again.

Expected a quiet place in an excellent location and this is what I found. Probably too hot in the summer, but right now just perfect.
Need to shop while away on day trips, as there is no convenience store in Ovnat.

Almog is a quiet Kibbutz on the Dead Sea.
Almog is a quiet Kibbutz on the Dead Sea. Safe area with a few local restaurants. You need a car to be there. Almog has a rly cute playground equipped with everything and a nice pool. It’s also a dog friendly place.

We have been many times to Ein Bokek. Love the Dead Sea area. Great walks along the front early in the morning. And only a few minutes walk to the Dead Sea Mall. Aet at Greg's in the Mall. Could do with more shops in the Mall.

Ein Gedi Beach is closed. But you can reach Kalya Beach by bus or car in half an hour. Or you go down south, there are plenty of beaches there.

A good, quiet place suitable for a short vacation. Overall a good experience for the value. A few glitches in the spa - mainly in the support service. So, for example, it is written in the guest information that the spa is open from 7:30, but the receptionist at the spa at 8:00 refused to register us for treatment, the phone to the spa was not answered, but the other things made up for it. The reception staff and the dining room staff are attentive and helpful. The significant advantage - beach - is well maintained
