Lovely restful and calm stay with friendly and accommodating staff, a bus stop outside the door and ample and easily accessible parking. The room was modern, well equipped and comfortable. I am not a fan of large cities as a rule, but Cork is the exception. It is a lovely city with lots to see. The food scene is fantastic. I got to treat myself to beignets and a pumpkin pie at Bayou (on MacCurtain Street in the Victorian Quarter). The English Market is a must-see and my favourite place for Hederman's smoked butter. Although everyone talks about Blarney Castle for its stone, I recommend exploring the surrounding castle grounds. The Poison Garden, carnivorous courtyard, wishing steps, witches' kitchen, druids' cave, fairy glade, dolmen, and sacrificial altar have something for everyone to marvel at. If relaxing is your goal, consider checking out Zero Gravity Float (Edenhall, Model Farm Rd.) near Munster Technological University.

Killarney is a beautiful place , surrounded by water and forests. Lots of history to explore. The Tourist information office is full of ideas and leaflets as to what to do and see. Both the bus station and the train station are nearby , allowing you to see further afield if wanted. There are lots of places to eat and the quality of food is excellent. The Hop on Hop of bus takes you to many of the sights but there is a far amount of walking to do! Taxi s are easily found and the prices are very reasonable. Don't forget to check out the Killarney Duck shop- an experience all on its own!

We were just passing through Limerick, but I noted a few key points: in the evening it is difficult to have dinner after 9 PM, so you have to settle for fast food. Also, it seemed to me that Limerick is less beautiful than other Irish cities, even though it is located on the River Shannon.

Dingle is a beautiful place.

Dingle is a beautiful place. There was much to see in the surrounding areas and it is close enough to enjoy a bit of sightseeing, yet far enough to enjoy a slower more relaxed atmosphere after a busy day. I would love to see the area in the spring.

Charming little town with quick access to the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher. The pubs in town pride themselves on showcasing traditional Irish music and nobody does it better... and may I say the Irish Stew at McDermotts Pub is AMAZING! Add the Doolin Caves to the mix and this Irish town is a Winner!!!

Ennis is a really nice town to visit.

Ennis is a really nice town to visit. There's a nice atmosphere to the place. Even though the whole of the centre was being dug up for improvements it was still really interesting to walk around. The bars were great. Good music and never closed if you were still drinking, it seemed.

Went with an almost 4 year old - there was plenty for him to be entertained by. There is a lovely playground along the pier (and a smaller one very close to the town centre also at the sea front) and he also enjoyed watching the passing boats and a cruise ship. We also went to Titanic museum which he enjoyed.
